Great times here at Wimpys burgers located in beautiful Tulare California. There may not be much in this town besides the outlets, country, and this wonders place. But that's more than enough reason for me to visit this little town. If you want to eat good food with great service in a tiny hole in the wall establishment. Then set your GPS to this location and get ready for a wonderful day. Pay no attention to the homeless people that surround the area they will do you no harm and even if they do attack you. I promise the food is worth getting stabbed over.

I have never not had a great experience at this restaurant! The food is good the Wimpy seasoned fries are to die for an the service is beyond excellent! You see I'm on a mobility scooter that wouldn't fit through the door because it's a small restaurant not because they are not accommodating to disabled people they took down my order at the door and brought it out to me when it was done just so I could have my wimpy fries I crave! I wish they could afford a bigger space for the restaurant but unfortunately it's expensive for those kind of spaces! If they took over the spot across from taco Bell on Tulare ave that would be perfect for everyone because it would be centrally located and bring business to downtown ❣️
This is probably the best greasy spoon style burger shop. Burgers are good, Shakes are great and they have the best seasoned fries! My kids would go here just to get the big bag of fries! I always stop by for lunch anytime I’m in the area!
Great burger joint. I ordered the pastrami Supreme (#6) thinking it was a pastrami burger. But to my surprise it was a sandwich with pastrami and no burger. That was my fault for not fully reading the menu. The sandwich was delicious but would be way better paired with a hamburger. The onion rings were really good. Not quite crispy as I like them to be but I'm sure that's because I got them to go. Any issues I had with the food was on me. That's why I'm giving them 5 stars.
Their fries looked really good. I'll have to try them next time I come in. I'm from out of town and like to try new places wherever I go. For me to say I want to go back there and not another place is a big complement.
Note to owner: offer a pastrami Burger. All you have to do is add pastrami to one of your single or double patty burgers.
