4.4 - The coffee gets five stars easily. A small but pleasing space in the impressive Philcade building. If I lived or worked nearby one of their locations this is where I would go if not every day, regularly. Diligently crafted! Their history is interesting. The website details how the creator of this company moved to El Salvador with his coffee expertise and then went to the slopes of the Santa Ana volcano to raise a family that for generations has grown coffee. In 2001, they opened two roasting facilities, one on their own home town farm and one in Tulsa, OK. Topeca became one of the first farms to retail coffee shops in the world. Experiencing this first hand while staying in the Art Deco district, asking for a macchiato, staff asked me if I liked espresso. Yes. I was then shown the small traditional espresso cup I would get my macchiato in if I ordered this here. Surprising, coming from the Northeast where Dunkin' can give customers a large macchiato that is over 8 ounces. Nevertheless, for java purists anything with espresso is served this way. He suggested I get a 12 oz. toasted caramel latte. Good advice. Absolutely one of the best cups of any kind of coffee I've ever had to date. Dreamy. Memorable. Tough to replace. I did say on my way out coffee of this kind was going to be hard to find, even though even in CT we have a winner like GIV coffee in Canton. (see review) My partner had a Cappuccino. State laws apparently allow wine to be sold in these shops, as well. Interesting to see. Topeca also sells tea, appliances, accessories and brand bags of their own beans.

It’s a small coffee shop size wise. Coffee was good, People friendly, and atmosphere was pretty decent. It did have a small weird smell to it. But that could have just been Tulsa. Enjoyed going here and would totally come back

Coffee was great. I got the BSL and my spouse got the Caramel Mocha. We both thought they tasted nicely. We paid roughly $12-$13 before tip for two drinks so not bad.

Very quick service and delicious coffee. It was not busy on a Saturday morning. The building is worth exploring as well.

Okay, this is such a cool coffee shop. It gave me an old bar/subway feel. Moody colors, but bright and welcoming. There were a few people working on their laptops. We popped in for a coffee before our road trip, and the clientele did not appreciate adorable toddlers' laughter. I feel sorry for them. The barista was so friendly and was funny. The coffee tastes great! I got a latte with 2 sugar in the raw packets added. The shop connects to this beautiful old building. It was fun to wander in its echo hallways, brass elevators, and bright chandeliers. I would definitely come back.

Topeca is my regular hangout in downtown Tulsa. The coffee is smooth and tasty. The teas are great quality. The chai latte is the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. I haven't tried their pastries yet, but I will get around to it. I love to sit and relax with my Kindle and a hot cup of love from Topeca. And their rainbow flag makes me happy.

Had a macchiato, root beer float iced coffee and strawberry Italian cream soda. The float was a little to sweet for me but what would you expect from something that’s supposed to be inspired by a dessert. Walked around and enjoyed the feel of the old building. Took a couple of bags of coffee home. Staff was super friendly and let us same some of the brewed coffee to make sure we liked the bags of coffee we ended up buying.

Neat little coffee shop! We loved the unique flavors that they had to offer. The peach cobbler latte actually tasted like a peach cobbler. I also love going into a historic building like this for a coffee shop

Great coffee experience in a beautiful Art Deco building… coffee is phenomenal. Mad it took me 12 years to come in and have a cup. I flew from Fort Lauderdale to do this so worth it! Highly Recommend!

Great atmosphere to work and enjoy a well brewed coffee. I had a Sulawesi pour over. It was served well in a carafe with a traditional cappuccino cup which was enjoyable. The building the shop resides in is gorgeous, with granite walls and antique style elevators. I loved it! The customer service and conversation was wonderful too. I’ll return and highly recommend a visit there.

Cute coffee shop with good options! There isn’t much seating inside /not too private but it’s cozy and welcoming. There is also a nice area to sit outside too. They have sugar free caramel and vanilla for flavors!

Have seen this coffee in the grocery store for years. Decided to check out the brick and mortar spot. Nice music playing with a good section of pastries. Me and the wife got the coffee of the day. She grabbed a chocolate croissant I got the pistachio oatmeal cookie. FYI: the coffee comes out super hot. So hot initially the cup was hard to handle. Local conversation was great. We spent two hours talking to the barista/bartender learning about coffee and amora, hope I got it right. It's the Italian way of combing coffee with liquors. Eleven bucks and change for the two of us. Not a daily place but for sure a few times a week considering we drove downtown after 9 pm for coffee. Only had the coffee this time but will be back for more of the experience and great coffee.

You won’t get better coffee anywhere else in Tulsa! The baristas know what they are doing, and that is always half the battle. If you want true seed to cup coffee, get down to the Philcade building.
