Haven't been here in years and decided to take the wife in for dinner.
We had not visited the new facility. Good setting, decent enough location. Service was impeccable. French Hen is not skimping on ingredients. Dinner was fantastic.
Good choice for a romantic dinner. Very high quality and service to match.
It can be pricy, our meal was $250 for 2. We pay for good food so not really a problem, just be prepared going in.
We will return. Good job, French Hen!
I ordered the Mixed plate with a filet, Scallops, mashed potatoes and vegetables. Everything was great. Server was too notch, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Tulsa.
Incredible service, waitstaff was kind and attentive. The food was wonderful, and pricing was very fair. Love the new location @ Vast Bank. Valet only $10- worth it.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that left a great impression on me. The cocktails and salad were exceptional, and the ambiance was delightful. The service was also noteworthy, as the servers were very attentive and professional.
Date night at this place was pretty good! When we went they were short staffed and still made it a point to act like we were the only ones in the restaurant. The bartender/waiter/hero was amazing. The food was good although I wished my steak was actually seasoned, however not a bad ribeye. The vibe was really cool and we felt comfortable. I recommend this place as a new try it out spot.
Great staff. Great location. Wonderful ambiance. Delicious food. Went here for my anniversary dinner and my wife and I did have a great time. Food was more than anticipated; had no room for desert. We both had the chef's specialty, fish and lamb respectively.
I am not so refined in taste as my wife is so when she suggested this place, I was a bit nervous. I'm of the school of thought that I would prefer buying groceries and eating at home and if I must eat out, do it where you can get a lot of food for a good price. Hence, why I felt odd when coming here, and it being a French restaurant, I already felt like I was being looked down upon.
But its so interesting, how a lot of things just are in your own mind until you come face to face with reality, only for it to turn out much better than what you expected.
This place gave me a lesson. Its okay to eat in places where food is more expensive. Its okay to try new things even if they are a bit more pricy. Its about the experience and most importantly, its about understanding, that God said all things He made were good, so who was I to judge?
I had a lovely evening here and that was in part due to William our server who gave us plenty of chuckles and a warm atmosphere. We took some of his recommendations and we also tried the Dijon Chicken and the duck with the cherry glaze. My taste buds were going wild. The texture, the consistency, the taste, a beautiful ensemble of food made with love and an incredible presentation. Not one thing fell short and all was good.
My wife and I had such a wonderful time and we would go back there without thinking about it. The French Hen has a special place in our hearts and I hope it does for you too. Thank you William for a wonderful evening and thank you, French Hen, for changing my perspective, and welcoming us with open arms.
We came here for our anniversary dinner and it so happened to be a wine dinner. It was a beautiful spread, great food, and good wine. The owner and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special for our occasion. I had requested escargot and they were able to accommodate that and everyone there got to enjoy it as well. The wine group that was there gifted us two very nice bottles of wine also. We are from Houston, but when we come back to Tulsa, this will be our first stop. Thank you for such a great evening!
My first visit to French Hen left me with a great impression: easy reservation process, friendly hostess and wait-staff, wonderful atmosphere, great food and drink options. The seared scallops were perfect, and the pistachio encrusted trout was phenomenal!
We celebrated are 30th anniversary dinner there. Food is very good and the young lady who served us was great.
Our dining experience was fantastic! Lobster and crab cheesecake was excellent. Mine that this restaurant is expensive but the food was prepared perfectly and just wow!
Glad we decided to try this place while visiting Tulsa. Amazing service and even better atmosphere.
Food was good overall. I had the steak and frites…frites and sauce was good but the steak was a little lacking. Cooked perfectly just not a very good cut imo.
Overall I’d recommend.
Food was very very good! we had the seafood cheesecake, which was very interesting. It’s basically a savory cheesecake with seafood on top, fried onions, and a balsamic glaze. I thought it was quite good. The escargot was delicious and served with garlic that still had a bit of the raw flavor. It might sound strange but that natural peppery flavor was delicious. Bread wasn’t amazing, tbh, but we didn’t come there for bread. ;)
The scallop and shrimp with angelhair dish was incredible. The scallops were PERFECTLY cooked, the cream sauce was delicious. The drinks were very good too! My partner got a drink- I want to say it was an Amelia? Something along that and it was delicious. Had a great raspberry flavor.
Their gin selection was wonderful and the bartender was excellent. I also liked the vibe of the wait staff. Dishes were served one at a time (except the appetizers - don’t ask me to spell au d’devours).
Would recommend this place
Kathy was kind enough to open the restaurant on a Saturday morning so I could host a baby shower for my friend. Everything was perfect from the minute I walked in the door. The service was EXCELLENT and the guests RAVED about the food. Enjoy the pictures!
Amazing and friendly staff. The food was wonderful. Had the duck, trout and onion soup. Would definitely dine here again.
Stunning hospitality and food experience. Went for a friend’s birthday and we all had an amazing time. The only small change I’d suggest is that they improve their Old Fashioned…seemed they felt the need to top it off with soda water.
A great upscale french restaurant. Perfect for date nights. Full bar and very knowledgeable staff make for a great atmosphere. Food was very well prepared, and was amazing.
Fantastic meal. We will definitely be coming back here. Everything was delicious
Came here on a lovely spring day for lunch on the patio and was not disappointed! Got a salmon special and the calamari- both were fantastic. Service was wonderful and it was not crowded. Servers were all wearing masks. Highly highly recommend! I will be back often. Nice new gem for the downtown area ☺️
