Hold up buttercup...you gotta go to Brownie's. This place is on fire and very likely the best burger place in Tulsa. Prices are very reasonable, you only want to order a half/half fries and rings...huge. Burgers have a great taste and the pie is amazing. Hopefully you'll be fortunate enough to have Dee S working; amazing service!
A hot Saturday in July. Nice cool place to chill. Waitress shared a secret with us (chocolate shake and fries) and we felt special. Very delicious food. You feel like your home in this diner.

Service was great. Love the thin burgers. Got the wiener burger and it was sliced perfectly.
Daughter loved the grilled cheese and my other daughter saw the fries and said I've never seen fries like that.
Old school burger joint. My mom came here in the 60s before piano practice is her memory. I love old school places like this and I fully support them. Come in and enjoy the old school atmosphere and be glad these places still exist.
I'm ashamed to admit that, even though I'm a naive Tulsan, I had not visited Brownie's until recently. It has an old school diner/burger joint feel. I ordered the classic double, fries, and, of course, a frozen mug of root beer. The burger is simple, but satisfying. The fry basket was quite large and the fries are good. If you come here, though, you are probably here for the root beer. The servers walk around with pitchers of the delicious drink, so if you're not careful, you'll enjoy enough to regret it later! It's sweet, light aftertaste, refreshing. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
Great service! The waitresses were very sweet. The food was excellent! We had quite a few people with us, and they kept up with drinks and anything we needed. The root beer was amazing! The sides are huge and big enough to share. Can't wait to come back.
A return visit from some time back that was disappointing. They have it right with one of the greatest burgers. Just the right size and taste to the top.
I thought I knew where to go for the best onion rings. I changed my mind. Brownie's onion rings are absolute best. Small, but large enough to taste onion then batter. Anxious to try other plates.

Stopped in and had hamburger, fresh onion rings, and a slice of pie at this historic restaurant. 53 years and still going strong, look forward to my next visit.
This is an old fashioned greasy hamburger joint but sometimes that’s just what you’re looking for. The burger are huge but they are flavorful and juicy. The sides are, however, enormous! We had an order of fries and an order onion rings. They both were delicious and definitely enough to share. All in all, a good meal at a great price.
Visited here based on an Instagram recommendation. Love the nostalgia of the old time dinner. Must be a favorite of the locals cause it was busy the entire time we were there and we even got there before noon.
Service was good except the staff need to explain how much food comes with full order of fried pickles, onions etc.. we ordered too much. A variety of different burgers but the meat was lacking seasoning.
Very few places hit the mark like Brownie's does. Old style hamburgers made to perfection. It was my first time there, but not the last for sure. Waitress was attentive and made sure we had what we needed and the building and pictures of the restaurant in the 1950's round out the experience. Definitely recommend this place.
Great little hole in the wall. They always have great food!! Cowboy breakfast, double with cheese and loaded tots!
This is the original Brownie’s building from my childhood. So much nostalgia. The service is still good. The old fashioned cheeseburgers are just like they were when I was a kid. The lemon meringue, chocolate meringue, and coconut cream pies are HUGE! The root beer on draft is worth a visit alone.
I have eaten here for lunch two previous times and decided to give breakfast a try. I arrived on a Friday at around 715 a.m and it was fairly busy. There was only one server (Heather I believe) and she had a large party plus an chiseling individual tables, however as soon as she saw me she greeted me and got my drink order. I ordered the sausage, onion, tomato and cheese omelet and asked my onions and sausage to be well cooked. There was no charge to have French toast as a substitute for the pancake, which is unheard of really. Even with the party and other tables my food came out hot, fast and fresh. Everything was really good especially the home fries....all for only $6.00. I will definitely come back.
It was a busy lunch rush, and the cooks were ready! The front of the house, not so much. Have to give props to the cooks. They made amazing food and were even running some of it to move service along. Definitely need re-training for the front of house staff. Overall, I would visit again for the food and watching amazing cooks do awesome work. đź‘Ś
Used to be good hamburgers it was bought out some years ago I loved their food. It wasn't tasty the only thing good were the French fries. Their homemade root. Beer wasn't good at all. Not for me anymore.
Great experience at Brownie's yesterday! I grew up going to Brownies. The new owners have spruced the place up while maintaining the original character, menu and taste. Excellent service and food was tasty! Very affordable & family friendly.
Had the ooey gooey burger, which includes cheese, bacon, and ranch, with a side of fried okra, homemade root beer, and a slice of chocolate pie. Definitely recommend. Not big on root beer? You still do not want to miss out on this, served cold in a frosted glass. Chocolate pie is old school. All-around great meal in classic atmosphere.
