Not our first visit, but now an annual stop on our road trip to Arizona. Cutest little diner in the Heartland of America. We keep coming back, because the service is outstanding and the food along w/the prices are so unbelievably reasonable. This is the way businesses used to be and still should be run. You will also get service here w/a warm friendly smile. The food is also of good quality. Location is right off the main interstate and has easy access. Please make sure you stop in to dine w/them for your breakfast/lunch, as you’re passing through Catoosa-Tulsa, OK
Humble People - Delicious Food! First time there and will not be our last. Food was outstanding and large portions too. Catfish, Roast Beef, Breakfast and even the rolls, were to die for. Our server Brittany was the best. Always smiling and such a people pleaser. ❤️❤️ Loved loved this place. Yasmin, Tim, Rio and Maxim.
This is not our first time here we come back for the chicken fried steak . Always fresh and hand breaded everything it's delicious. Had a really nice young lady who even took the time to decorate our to-go box. What a nice touch. If you are looking for a great down home meal give it a try you won't be sorry. Hubby and I split and we still take half of it home
Hands down the best breakfast my husband and I have had in a while! Delicious food, excellent wait staff that were all wonderful and seemed to work together as a team with a smile. The guys back there cooking the food are doing it right! This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but don’t judge this book by its cover. Fantastic place and they have earned a longtime customer.
Must stop for breakfast. Very reasonably priced. Full of local working class eating breakfast before work. Younger guy next to me said he’d been coming to eat there for 10+ years. Don’t let the outside look fool you. Inside is clean and the two servers were very friendly. Bacon etc. cooked to order. 99¢ coffee is unheard of these days. I had the two egg breakfast available till 8am. 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns and biscuit with gravy…..$4.99. Shame on you if you pick Waffle House at casino over Port City diner.
This is a small establishment, but the food is very good and the employees are super friendly! They make you feel right at home!
This was our 1st visit to PCD. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and the The chicken fried steak was great! We will definitely be back and recommend to anyone!
20230910T1205 - My review was from a couple months ago. Whoever is in charge of the Port City diner Google page literally just went through every review, no matter what it said, and replied "Thank you very much." You know your restaurant is busy when you reply to every review with copy and paste. 😂😂😂
20230514T1100 - I was looking for a good diner that did good breakfast. Port City will not disappoint you. The staff was friendly, the food was fast even though the place was jam-packed, and the atmosphere was great. Food was outstanding. All around a great experience.
Best chicken fried steak my husband and I have ever had. The biscuits and gravy were SO good and the big pancake was just the icing on the cake. When we are in the Tulsa area, we are definitely stopping here to eat!
I FOUND IT! Whenever I walk into a local restaurant, I have high hopes. I want to discover greatness. Unfortunately, I have endured a lot of poor to mediocre meals. This place delivered all the way around. From the true hole-in-the-wall diner vibe to the most delicious breakfast I've had in a very long time. The guy in the kitchen knows how to cook! My Western omelet was omelet perfection, the hash browns were crispy goodness, even the toast tasted better here. Hubby loved his light, flaky biscuit and gravy, and raved about how perfect his scrambled eggs were. If you're in the area, I highly recommend. We've been there three times in one week.
I was staying next door at a hotel and on my way to the truck, the all too familiar beckoning aroma of a great breakfast hit me. I loaded my stuff and made a b line for the restaurant. Walking in, it feels just like the title says, a classic diner. Everyone was friendly, staff and patrons alike. Sat down to some hot fresh coffee and I ordered the meat lovers skillet. Now, typically that means a heavy greasy Grandma style breakfast. Although all the traditional flavors were there, it was exceptionally light, very fresh vegetables, perfectly done proteins and eggs. This was a real treat and will definitely be a staple visit anytime I'm in Tulsa.
The breakfast was great!! Waffle was warm and fluffy. The biscuits taste homemade. We will definitely be back whenever we come back to Oklahoma!!
My go to breakfast spot in this area! The waitresses are all awesome and the foods always on point!
Had the pork chop breakfast. Seasoned well and was a good price. Service was friendly and considerate. Would definitely come back.
The food is ALWAYS the bomb, always. My husband & myself enjoyed a casual Saturday morning breakfast. The food was great, service friendly. What more could one ask for?
My Dad & myself use to eat here once and awhile. Miss him, place brings warm memories!
We stopped in this place for breakfast and we were not disappointed. So glad we gave this little treasure a shot. It is a traditional diner with great food and even better service.
Really good food and service. The place was very busy on a Friday afternoon. Highly recommended.
