My only complaint is that they don't give me breadsticks when I get to go, and that sometimes I feel like I've got more bell peppers than noodles. Other than that, we love their food and services, and eat here frequently.
My wife and I went for our anniversary. They were surprisingly not busy, so we were seated quickly. Our server came quickly for drink orders. I was impressed with the nice wine list and reasonable drink prices.
Looking the menu over, I saw that all pricing was lower than expected. We started with the Italian nachos. It was a pretty good stack, but in reality, only the middle top had much on it. The rest were just plain fried wanton chips. Overall, the taste was good and more than the two of us could eat.
I ordered the 3 Meat Skillet al Forno. It was a good portion size, good flavor, and the pasta was well prepared. The breadstick was crunchy, which was surprising.
My wife got the Pasta your way, with bowtie, pesto, and chicken. She liked it. I tried the pesto sauce and thought it would be good on bread, but was too much basil for me as a pasta sauce.
We ended with the brownie with ice cream, and it was very good.
Overall, it was a good experience. I would go back. Only things that I wasn't impressed with is that they don't serve bread while you wait, entrees don't come with salads, and they don't offer fresh parmesean. You can order a salad, and that would put your pricing up with more what would be expected, so maybe that's good for those who wouldn't want salad anyway. My negatives are all preference amd the food was good was good, so I am still giving 5 🌟.
Wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious! The bruschetta was the absolute best we've ever had. Best I've ever tasted and I'm a big bruschetta fan, my fiance had it for the first time and was in love. I ordered the kids meals and my children loved their food. My fiance ordered the Rustica and loved it too, he said it was very filing and flavorful. I ordered the Chicken Marsala, and it is the best I've had in my life. The only thing I wish was that the chicken on top had been sliced for me because it was a full piece on top of angel hair pasta and all I had was a case knife. Either way though it was absolutely delectable. I compared it to Zios because Zios used to be my favorite Italian restaurant until they closed down and I can say easily that the things we ordered were definitely comparable in taste and flavor, and Oliveto has more than impressed me by being better. I'm super glad we went. We ordered the rich succulent Ghirardelli brownie with ice cream on top for all of us. Loved it! The kids ate free because we went on Sunday after 4pm, so our bill was cheaper too! The service was very good! Our family is big Ramsey fans, and my 5 year old daughter was impressed with how pretty the place looked on the inside and kept comparing it to a fancy Ramsey restaurant with delicious food haha. We truly enjoyed our experience and can't wait to go back. Our sugar crazed kiddos went straight to bed with full tummies as soon as we got home and it was really nice knowing they ate well and were not hungry at all, finally, after a dining experience. That doesn't happen too terribly often. So thank yall for being amazing.
I found a new favorite! I don't know why I've never been here. And I've never heard anyone recommend or suggest it. But this place was wonderful. We were seated quickly, brought drinks quickly, our appetizer came quickly, and our drinks were kept full. We could see the kitchen working from our table but it wasn't loud and obnoxious like that set up can be. We all enjoyed our food very much. I am not a pasta person and was actually not excited to go here because of that. My Pasta Creole was so delicious. I want to go back and try every pasta they have. Everyone in my party enjoyed the dish they ordered from pastas to crab cakes and spinach dip with focaccia bread. The prices are extremely reasonable. Our appetizers and entrees for five were under $85. Our server was also excellent. I just can't say enough good!!
We wandered into Oliveto and I am happy I did. This was my first time there and we shared the Italian Nachos which were fantastic. Wonton chips with layers of melted cheese,Italian sausage, roasted red peppers, green onions, and just go look at the pics. They are amazing. My wife is a spice wimp so the jalapeños are on the side. I would definitely go back and our waitress Naomi was amazing as well.
I really enjoyed my lunch here. It’s like an upgraded Olive Garden in my opinion. Super yummy. I had a Peach Bellini and the create your own pasta option (which was really nice considering I am picky!). The meatball was super yummy, wish I had ordered more. I recommend this place!
I love the atmosphere and the food here. Especially the shrimps are fresh and crunchy. Oliveto is now my favorite restaurant for Italian. The chicken is average, it's tough and not as fresh. If they can fix that then it would be perfect. Very nice place, a little small.
Good - ****
Really been wanting to try this italian restaurant for many years but somehow never happened. Today got an opportunity finally to have lunch from here. They have some $7 pizza special and $8.50 pasta/salad duo special but I felt to try their lasagna. It is pretty expensive with respect to quantity of food. I wish they would have provided a salad also with lasagna. There was only a small garlic bread that came with it. The lasagna was pretty hot and it had 5 layers with enough mozarella and ricotta cheese in meat sauce. Overall I liked the lunch.
Fantastic Meal. Pepperoni Bread was delicious. Spaghetti with Meat Balls, that are definitely made in house. Lasagna was fresh and very good. My son loved the Grill Cheese. And we finished it off with the Cookie Desert. Highly Recommended authentic Italian.
Great service, atmosphere and food was phenomenal would recommend . Signed up for e club and got free pizza for my birthday they gave me discount salad as well for going on Mon so I got everything for $2.
