1st time visitors. Staff was extremely attentive, and we didn't wait for anything, hor d'oeuvres at our table immediately! My steak was a bit raw for my taste, but I'm used to other steakhouses cooking my 'medium' as well-done. So that's on me! Pictures don't do the place justice! EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH EVERYTHING!

Gotta say, First timer here and fell in love instantly! Very nice old school dark atmosphere with a great decor. My waiter Jack provided me with outstanding service. It’s a family affair here, his mother came out and checked on me to make sure my meal was satisfactory. Indeed it was. I ordered a ribeye medium rare and it came with a basket of ribs, fried bologna and tabouli. What a deal! That basket was an amazing start and finished off with a perfectly cooked steak. Side note, a special thanks to Jack and Gio from United States Aviation FBO. Left my credit card at the restaurant and Jack was able to get it to Gio who held on to it until I left out of the FBO next day. Saved me an Uber and a lot of heartache. Your efforts were appreciated. If you’re looking for a great steak, awes value and spectacular customer service, look no further. If you’re in Tulsa, this has to be your go to. Come out and support your local restaurants and avoid chains! I highly recommend this place.

We LOVE Jamil's. The cabbage rolls and appetizers alone are amazing. The tabouli is one of my favorites in town. It's always fresh and delicious.

Food is amazing! 5 stars on everything! Our waitress was very attentive and always refilled my glass and took good care of us. The steak was very tender, flavorful, and great quality. You get a lot of food and all of is so good. I am impressed!

I'd heard rave reviews about this place, apparently been around forever. The people were the Nicest people, waiter we had wasn't super personable but did a decent job. Kinda pricey but you do get quite a bit of food. They start off with tabouli, humus veggies and Naan. Then once you order your meal, they bring out cabbage rolls, ribs and bologna for hor d'oeuvre's. The cabbage rolls apparently are normally the star of the show, I wasn't really impressed. The smoked bologna was delicious. I ordered steak and shrimp. The filet was of really good quality, very tender and cooked perfectly medium. But It was bland tho, maybe they forgot to season with the basic salt and pepper I dunno. The fried shrimp was phenomenal. I'll probably try again in the future because the people were so nice.

My first time here was a few years ago. My parents went all the time when i was a kid ...but i was always told it was only for grown ups ( IT WAS NOT ) LOL. it's been a real delight every time we come in. Frank and Jennifer are always nice and attentive. Food is always top knotch. It has ambiance and warmth that some of the newer places lack. My only complaint is I miss the wine. But I will byob next time.

Please come hungry! Family owned for 85 years and they make you feel at home. For the price of your food, you get cold appetisers, Including humus tabbouleh and crudite. Followed by hot Hors d’oeuvres, which consisted of stuffed cabbage, bologna and Barbecue ribs. Then a house salad is included if you like it The entree comes with the baked potato, sour cream and butter The food was well prepared and plentiful we left stuffed. The family is serving you and the service is excellent! This was a great meal with great value!

The two of us both had ribeyes and extra side of ribs. Everything was fantastic. The waitress was professional but very friendly. Could be the best ribs in town but go for the steaks. Just wanted a great meal, and we got it.

The prices are too high, even though the food is good and they bring you the cabbage roll, relish tray etc. For a fine dining restaurant and menu prices, I really expect linen tablecloths, heavy high quality knife fork and spoons and have more than one waiter working the restaurant by himself. The service is adequate but not worth a 20% gratuity expected for the amount of money being charged I also expect the waiter to not bring thel check until we have finished our meal and he has cleared off the empty plates and other dishes from the table.. also, at a fine dining restaurant, i expect the waiter to box up our leftovers, not just hand us styrofoam containers, even before we finished eating. That is what happens when you only have one server working the restaurant. Hickory smoked ribs are good but are still not being cooked tender enough, they are still a little hard to chew, the last two times that I've been there. I would dine there more often if they lowered the prices by $10 to $15 on their steaks, we would go there more often instead of us only dining there a few times per year. All in all, it was still a positive dining experience but there is still room for improvement, give them a try, then post an honest review.

A very delicious Tulsa legacy. Reasonably priced and cooked your way. One of Tulsa's best places for steak and cabbage rolls.

Everything was absolutely delicious! The T-bone steak had a great cedar on the outside and was perfectly medium rare plus on the inside. The owner greeted me when we came in and, Jack our favorite server was on target. I heard him explaining the different types of steaks to a new Table our drinks were consistently refilled and everything was just great! The ribs were fantastic. This restaurant has been our go to family restaurant for special occasions since the mid-70s. Well there are occasional problems with inconsistency over the years generally speaking it’s just been great.

As a lifelong Tulsan, and a lifelong Jamil’s fan, I can’t imagine a world without their steaks & starters! The entire Jamil’s team was great, and the food was as wonderful as ever. We will be back soon!

It had been a long time since our last visit, but we had came here for my birthday dinner because I was craving cabbage rolls and I had read an awful review so I had to come check it out for myself coming from a family of restauranteurs. The ribs and bologna were fantastic, cabbage rolls amazing and steak was just perfection. Perfect Med Rare and finely seasoned, no steak sauce necessary. I’m frustrated that I haven’t been in awhile, but I absolutely will be returning more frequently. Jamil’s is still on top for steakhouses, in my opinion. Hope they get their liquor license renewed soon, but even without it, it’s still worth the trip.

Jamil's is a must for us anytime we are in Tulsa. We love the cabbage rolls and so much that we always get a batch to take home to the East Coast. Great steaks, wonderful service. We will be back!
