When your come to PJ's you're automatically family the atmosphere is a relaxing lunch spot. The homemade meatloaf & drip beef are to die for &&& you cant leave without trying the lemon iced cake!!
The picture below was my lunch it was very good and juicy I put onion and Swiss on mine. The waiter was very nice and suggested my meal which turned out to be very delicious and the prices are very reasonable. They close at 3 p.m. so you have to get there early if you want the good stuff. I will definitely be going back!
P.J. Is precious and the food and service are great!
The sandwich was tasty and even bigger than my appetite! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a very positive experience and plan on returning soon.
Best sandwich place in town!. My mother and i try to go here every time i come to town. sandwichs are the best. cookies are also great.
Very tasty and friendly. We like it as a regular stop.
Tip of the day…..Bring Cash!
The P.J.’S Sandwich Shop couldn’t be in a more fitting location. It is well hidden. Inconspicuously tucked in the corner of a small suite of shops, and quite fittingly next to an antique store. Its setting adds to the ambiance. When you enter, the decor is noticeably reminiscent of little old ladies tea room. But it is not. It is well-established and well recognized for being one of Tulsa’s customer pleasing sandwich shops. Proof of the years of love and recognition hang on the walls.
P. J.’S is a sandwich shop, as in “sliced bread” sandwiches, not sub style. Don’t let that lower your expectations. The sandwiches are fabulous. Somewhat like your grandmother might make, but much better. P.J.’S has the appropriate accompaniments for your sandwich: Cole slaw, potato salad, pasta salad, or chips. Their menu expands to meal salads, soups, chili. and you can do combinations of those offerings. Also, cookies and brownies!
I had the Club which is advertised as P.J.’S largest sandwich. A triple stack of bread with ham, turkey, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. There was no scrimping on the bacon. Chips for the side. Excellent sandwich. My wife went with the Chicken Club. Sliced, mesquite grilled, chicken breast with bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. Another very good sandwich!
This is a rare, exemplary, little shop that has a dedicated following. Great friendly service, with a cozy neighborhood feel.
Bonus! Pay with cash and you get a free cookie!!!! P.J.’S does take credit cards but, “No Cookie for You!”

Made an on the fly decision to stop at PJ's while traveling thru Tulsa. Best decision we've made a long time. Both staff and customers are friendly & knowledgeable. Before our waitress even got to our table other customers were giving recommendations to try. I had The Drip which was the best roast beef sandwich of my life. My husband had a chicken salad sandwich which he said was amazing as was the potato salad. The lemon iced sugar cookies were a great end to our meal.
I love to eat at places where they know their customer’s favorites and greet people with such a friendly attitude! They make all the sandwiches s of childhood! Daily they make their soups, and cookies.
Very friendly staff that makes you feel at home. Had lunch there today for the first time and all four of us were blow away. Everyone was very happy with their sandwich. We will back.
Such a cozy place. Everyone is so friendly and chatty. They ensure your time here is perfect and it always is. The food is the best and the sweet pickles are always amazing even though I typically don't care for sweet pickles.
I am not about to give this cozy little place a generic review...not with the down home authentic worthiness I received. The people working were very warm and friendly. I didn't feel as if I was in anyone's way nor felt rushed or hurried into my order. I did however get the sense I was at my Aunt Rosie's house or my Aunt Helen's house and it was a nice breezy summer day. Even the chalkboard menu was a welcomed addition to the ambiance I experienced. They even give you a cookie to complete your meal...just like granny used to do.
Very nice vegetable salad. They were very open to adding ingredients they have in kitchen. It's tucked out of the way, nextdoor to Ace Hardware, with indoor and courtyard seating. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.
Lovely atmosphere nice people and great food! Highly recommended
Great experience! Mitchell took care of me and she was adorably sweet. The meat loaf sandwich was the real deal and the potato salad was creamy and delicious. I told them it was my first time there and they gave me a free cookie to boot!
I’ve been coming here since i was a little girl & now I will be bringing my little girls as they grow up! I love their egg salad sandwiches😍 The staff is family & they never fail to make a great meal. Definitely recommend!

Great local sandwich shop. A little pricy, but what isn’t these days? Great sides, and cookies too. Come check out this neighborhood staple!
