This had been on my list of places to go for way too long, especially after finally making it here! My son and I each had 8 inch "monster" hoagies, his Jay's way and I customized mine. Wow! What great flavor! Fresh meat complimented by crisp condiments and some incredibly tasty sweet peppers. The 8 inch is a great sandwich size option. Sandwiches were both filling and very well balanced between meat, condiments and bread.
Highly recommend and we'll be back!
I’m from back East and this is the only sandwich shop that compares to a true authentic hoagie. The bread is fantastic. Meats are super fresh. Home made sweet peppers. Thank you so much for finally bringing a real sandwich shop to Tulsa! Prices are fantastic as well!
I came here for the first time today.. and its absolutely delicious! Very friendly staff that make conversation and super quick with making the sandwiches. Its super clean and is an overall great place. I will definitely be coming back!!

I wanted to share how good the “Jay’s favorite roast beef” looks. It hits all the notes.
And you get leftovers because it’s so big.
Trencher's used to be our favorite sandwich shop in Tulsa until we tried Jay's which has them beat every single time now. The only place in Tulsa that makes authentic hoagies (they even have a framed definition for the word on the wall) and every single item we've tried has been absolutely amazing.
Top 5 sandwich in Tulsa. Bread is always fresh (well, everything really) and the meat is cut in front of you. This place deserves more recognition
I had it for the first time a couple days ago, can't believe I've lived here for about 25yrs and only discovering them now. I absolutely love this place. I don't eat alot of hoagies or subs but I definitely recommend this place. The food was fresh and taste really good, the guys that work there are so friendly and considerate and make you feel like your part of a small family. . Over all just a small homey feel environment. I absolutely love it. Really worth trying them out. You won't be disappointed. They do put alot of meat, cheese, veggies etc on to your liking. You really get your money's worth with each hoagies they make as well as salads and I believe they even have some soups(i may be mistaken on that)
I was quite pleased to find such a good little sub shop. I tried the Italian Jays Way. The sweet peppers were yummy!

Not sure what the difference between a hoagie and a sub is, but this sandwich was fantastic. I had the turkey and cheese, a lot of the fixins’ and a dash of the secret hot sauce you have to request and it was one of the better subs I’ve ever had. Fresh bread was as advertised and the sub was constructed in a way to minimize mess and reduce “spillage.” Jay makes a great sandwich!

This place is the TRUTH. Really solid eastern style hoagies. Fresh bread fresh meats sliced in front of you. it's so good and without question the best one I've had in town consistently. Really can't say enough things about them go check it out.
This place is the epitome of local sandwich shop. You won't find a fancy menu, branded napkins, or dainty portions here. This is where you go to get a good sandwich. Meats are sliced fresh when you order, and the sandwiches are built on good bread. I went for an Italian sandwich, and will definitely be coming back to try the Monster.
Really basic, bare bones little sandwich shop but don't let that fool you. It's probably the best sandwich shop in Tulsa. Absolutely top tier hoagies, get them at least once a week.
I've never had a genuine hoagie before and the ones here are amazing and way above what you can get at Subway!

I go to a lot of sandwich shops... I don't always review them, but when I do, it's because they are very very good.
I was visiting from out of town when I saw this place pop up on Google Maps. It has the same name as me so I figure, "why not"? Turned out to be a great choice!
I got Jay's Fave made "Jay's Way" (Roast Beef, Swiss, 6inch). They sliced the meat right in front of me, then built the sandwich using the freshest of veggies and sauces. It was this delightful mix of tangy, sweet and savory. Honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had in a loooooong time.
Staff was courteous, happy and helpful. They do good work :)
