Excellent. I'm not sure what other's issues are, but we had none of the problems previously mentioned. We were greeting by friendly staff and our burritos were correct and tasty. The music is definitely there, but not loud at all. We loved Freebirds when we lived in Oklahoma City and have missed it. The staff even checked on us occasionally while we ate. My only complaint would be that the pot brownies can apparently no longer be called that. They were still very good through. I'd definitely eat here again.
Free birds is an amazing place to eat!! They have the best food EVER! You should definitely try it out. In my opinion their service is ok. It could be better but otherwise its good.
Slow service, not always enough people working the line.
I love the concept, the food, the atmosphere, and the staff. Others compare it to Chipotle, but freebirds is MUCH better. The ingredients are fresh and you get a lot. I get a regular size burrito and it's two meals worth. I think a lot of the complaints on here stem from the location and target market not being well matched. This would go over much better on Brookside or Cherry Street.
LOVE IT. For all the people complaining about the noise level and the proportion sizes well freebirds isn't for everyone and obviously not for you. Personally I really enjoy the food, I usually get the two taco meal or the nachos depending on the mood I am in and I always add a cookie or a brownie, both are delicious. For me the proportions are just fine and unlike the other places Freebirds offers all their "extras" probably why they don't use bigger proportion sizes, the other places do not offer this. I have never had a problem with the service there depending on the time it can be really busy and take a while to get through the line, but everytime I have been in there the employees have been very helpful in helping me make my decisions. They are not a bunch of immature teenagers as other people have said, I think they do a great job especially with how chaotic it can get when you are dealing with that many people and that many different choices of food items you can not expect perfection, especially with the store being fairly new. I don't think I could do it like they do ! Also the cashiers are great to me I have never had a problem with them they always offer a fanatic card and my change is always given back correctly. I definitely recommend trying it before you judge it based off some of the other comments. I LOVE the food and the environment I will definitely be going back !
So much better than the rest.. I absolutely love this place. All the ingredients are fresh, and offer different choices that the other places like this don't. I was one of the first 25 in line for the opening... We camped out in below freezing weather just to get the "Free burritos for a year", and it was worth every freezing minute outside! Also, try the "Bad ass" BBQ on the burrito! It sounds gross but it is an amazing new twist that will leave your taste buds in a great mood. Yeah, they play classic rock music and it gets a little cramped sometimes but big deal... Go to Luby's cafeteria with the old people if you don't like a little cool change in atmosphere. I would give this place an A to A+
Go in for a bite...a BIG bite!!. We were so excited when we heard Freebirds was coming to Tulsa. We have a friend who just started working there. Staff was great and made sure that you were pleased! I got the smallest burrito, and even that is huge to me. I got chicken with black beans, rice, guacamole, salsa...then it was wrapped all up tight. Yum, yum! We will frequent there when we are in the area.
I went with my sister today, and we had no trouble at all carrying on a conversation. I didn't think the music was loud. The service was great and the food was delicious. I will definitely go back.
Really good food, atmosphere needs work. The food is great-- much more flavorful than Qdoba, and with a ton of options. I always appreciate a place that gives me an alternative to cilantro rice. The couple of times that we've been here, the employees are upbeat, friendly and helpful. I appreciate that the same employee builds your burrito from start to finish, although I think it makes the line take a little longer.
As others have mentioned, the noise level is extreme. The music is just too loud for a restaurant setting. And yes, when the weather is nice, I can sit outside to eat, but it's hard to understand what your burrito-builder is saying (and vice versa) when you can't hear them over the music. I get that they're trying to be fun and edgy or whatever, but it's just too much.
Great food! (Better than Chipotle and Qudoba, in my opinion!). Atmosphere is great is you like music; if not site outside. Only place in Tulsa you can actually wad your trash up into some weird design and hang it on the wall. Can't beat it!
I was so happy when I learned freebirds made it to Tulsa. Really good food!! Way better than chipotle. Went the day they opened, and was so excited to see one of my fav burrito places finally in Tulsa.
My husband and kids all love this restaurant! They have very friendly and courteous staff! Everything is fresh! The restaurant is also very clean. We came three times and enjoyed our meals all those times.
Our only complaint is the App doesn’t work for scanning barcode for the rewards.
Great size portions, you could eat half and save rear for later.
Staff very helpful for a first timer.
Good location.
Basically, you choose each ingredient for your burrito/meal, from the cooking line, you can see all the ingredients, and how they prepare your food, excellent taste, friendly service, and rock and roll ambiance
A little pricy, but great food and service. The atmosphere and music are also good.
Very good!!! Scrumptious and nasty (in a good way) burritos......😂 You will not leave hungry.
I've been here twice now, both times where great! Fresh food, clean eating area, fast service (maybe a little rushed) they have a burrito for everyone! Price is good for portion of goodness you get. They do seem to go a bit fast for a first timer trying to decide on all the choices but all in all good in my book. Will definitely be back
The staff here is consistently great. Every time we visit, the staff is helpful and friendly. The ingredients are always fresh. I have actually had the staff stop before putting ingredients on my order because they didn't look the freshest. I appreciate the level of detail they put into making a quality product. The restaurant is always clean and neat. Great food, great staff!
This place has a really cool laid back vibe. The food portions are very large. Ingredients are fresh and tasty. There are so many options! Customize a burrito, nachos, salad, etc. I really love their sauces. They have a tangy bbq-sort of sauce that is really unique. It's a little pricey but good for a treat once in a while.
This place is amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly, they play good music, and the burritos are HUGE! The quality and quantity of the food is only matched by the low prices and friendly smiles you get when you walk in the door. This is a great spot for a date, or even just for lunch (and dinner lol)
Cruelty free and organic ingredients, they never skimp on toppings, and in fact will overload sometimes. Wonderful food.
Awesome food and service. I'll be back!
I love Freebirds! Their burritos are absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the somewhat high cost in my opinion. The environment is really fun. I have had decent service every time I've been!
Best place for burritos in Tulsa! Every time I’m in town I go get a Hybird and am always pleased with my meal & service. Most places like this the workers are mediocre, but David does an amazing job and makes the experience that much better! Check it out!
First time customer. Went in with an open mind and was not disappointed. Food was very good. I'd give this 5 stars but I'm docking 1 because my order was rushed and I didn't feel I had enough time to think about my options and I wasn't offered any sides or drink.
Imagine Chipotle burritos but fatter, with better ingredients and meats selection. You'll have Freebirds! I'm glad this chain with a fun atmosphere finally made it to Tulsa, used to love it in Texas. Hopefully they'll open more locations since it's inconvenient if you're not already on the west side of town in Tulsa Hills. But anyway for a great burrito head to Freebirds!
