My wife's family introduced me to this place a while back and i love it. Also good food and service. It is not the best in town, but it is unique. Worth a try
Hay it's the food. I go for the enchiladas that's all it is a serve your self drinks.

Their menu is almost exactly the same as Las Americas (3rd & Yorktown).
Food was excellent. I had the Chicken Enchilada Dinner and got a Shredded Beef Taco a la carte. Refried beans are also very good.
Chips and salsa are good. Chips are great, but their red salsa is just okay. Ask for the spicy salsa and they'll bring you a green salsa that is very good.
Wait staff is extremely friendly. Takes a little longer than expected to get your food, but it's not an unbearable delay. If more than one person at your table orders on a separate ticket then your food will be brough out at separate times. That can be awkward.
Overall, some of the best Mexican food in Tulsa and certainly worth trying.

Well, it isn't Speedy's anymore. Oscar sold it. It is now Las Palmas. It seems the new owners respect how it was before. Many of the things that were, still are. However, there are a lot of improvements as well. I believe Oscar was burned out and winding it down. I had noticed the salsa and queso had gotten thinner and thinner. Now that it is Las Palmas, these things are thick and harty again. Their meats have a richer flavor without all the greese. We will continue to go back.

They have a new menu that is simplified from all the numbers. You can still get the dishes you loved, but they are more descriptive and less numarical..

On our latest few trips back, they were dispensing with the order line and are now having customers choose their place to sti and be wIted on at their table. There were many new faces there, and we ordered, ate, and paid in that sequence. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to genuinely want us to have a wonderful dining experience..
Recently, I have noticed an additional quality of freshness in the food. Not that it was ever bad or anything, but in the past, it seemed like some of the items hsd bren sitting in a hot box for some time. This time it all seemed very fresh. I got the chili relleno dinner with double rice, and they actually gave me 2 on the plate. They were quite spicy. I know it would be too hot for many, but I loved the heat.
There was a sign to join their announcement club. It saved us 35% on the bill. This promotion indicates it will last until August 23, 2023. The catch is that when the discount is sent to your phone, there are only 30 minutes to use it. So, don't run it before you get there.
I got a notice after signing up for their texts. It requested my birthday. After giving it, I was told there would be birthday specials for my birthday month. As it happens to be this month, I was treated to a fried ice cream. It was tremendously good. I highly recommend it. I have updated some of the pictures to more accurately reflect how they are prepared.
I usually purchase the small beef burrito with shredded cheese, red sauce and sour cream but they have a large menu selection to cater to most everyone's tastes. You will not be disappointed in the quality, taste and prices, give them a try.
After ordering and paying for your meal, they will bring your food items to your table and soon after you sit down you will receive complimentary chips and salsa for you dining pleasure. The service is okay but some of the waitresses do not pre bus the table and will leave the dishes on the table until after you leave. They usually just ask if everything is okay every once in a while
Some of the waitresses that work there are much more attentive and give you much better service along with taking the dishes off the table when you are done with them.
When it was Speedy: Loved (with a passion) the red salsa served with the chips, service was excellent during our lunch experience. Food came fast, pipping hot and with great flavor, the salad was extremely fresh, the enchiladas my husband had were busting with chicken to our delight and my beef flautas were on point, the rice was excellent; super fluffy and flavorful and the refried beans tasted amazing. Affordable prices. We will definitely return and recommending to family and friends.
Now: Definitely not the same, everything changed & not for good. I was a regular (3-4 times a week), not anymore. Sad to see a great place going down like that with new owners.
This place was greatness. Hey beer $12 including the tip! I got the speedy border tacos plate with hardwood smoked pulled pork! It was so moist and delish. Very authentic. The green hot sauce was very fresh and tasty but I could have used a bit more heat. This is my kind of taco place, dreamy good comfort food for sure. I’m sure locals all know and love this place but coming from a Texan who knows a good taqueria this place is right on!
Extremely delicious authentic Mexican food. Service was timely and very friendly one of the owners made a personal quick visit to check honest and was very friendly and personable. I'm sure I'll be back many times!
Nice place. The staff were all very welcoming. While looking through the menu my server informed that the current special was el molcajete and asked if I would like to try it. I had been wanting to try one for a while and it was everything I hoped. DELICIOUS!
The food is good every time we come here. Always hot, always fresh, a good variety on dishes offered. They have a good children's menu complete with hot dogs. The price is about average, nothing to complain about. Some of the booths & tables could use a little overhaul but they are clean & that is what is important. Just good food at a good price. Would definitely recommend!
Wasn't bad at all salsa needs a lil work doesn't have the kick more tomatoes then anything But the crispy tacos are out of this world
It was great food ans nice service! The only thing I would say is the menu needs to be updated at the restaurant and on here so people know what they can order since it's not speedys anymore.
coming from Chicago it's hard to find a good place to eat here in Tulsa, I have to say Food was delicious and service was great. Definitely coming back for more.

New owner this place is still okay the workers are really nice but the food changed. It's not as good as it was before. New cooks. But I'll give they were really nice to me and my family.
It was my first time going here, and it was great in every way. People here are so friendly and have great service. The food is really good, I moved here from Chicago, and this restaurant is on the top of my list since it's so hard to find good Mexican food here in Tulsa. Highly recommended
