First time and food is very good. Hamburger, onion rings and homemade chips were all extremely good. Oh and the Carmel milkshake sounded nasty, but sure glad I ordered it. The lady and gentleman running the place were both very friendly and nice people. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I found out about this little quaint gem of a place by reading the Preview 918 Magazine. I read the reviews about the Reuben. Man was it delicious. Best Reuben ever. The homemade Potato Chips were seasoned just right too.

The food is excellent. The pastries melt in you mouth. So surprised for gluten free food to taste that good.

Great sandwiches with nitrate free ham & turkey. Highly recommend the garlic mashed potatoes (side dish). While you're there, get to browse at Gardners used book store.

I was surprised to find out about this place, and even more surprised not to find many reviews of it. After visiting, I'm a bit less surprised. It's located in the corner of Gardner's Used Books, although it has it's own separate entrance as well. It's not easy to spot from the road, and if you're not a book person, you may never see nor hear about this place.

The atmosphere was not fantastic. Located in the book store, I understand that they might be facing noise restrictions, but the complete lack of music or ambient noise was uncomfortable.

Service was great! Very friendly, and quick to offer suggestions when we seemed uncertain about our choices. Our food came out quickly and piping hot, no complaints here.

The food was above average. We ordered fried pickles for an appetizer, and as the photo shows, it was a bit greasy. Still, they were crispy and delicious! A little spicy, very tangy, and a great dipping sauce as well.

For entrees, I had the reuben with house chips. The chips were greasy, but they were extremely crispy and well-seasoned. I would venture to say that minus the grease, they are the best homemade potato chips I've had in Tulsa. My reuben was excellent as well, especially the bread. The kraut was exceptional, and there was just the right amount of dressing on it for me. I thoroughly enjoyed it!.

My girlfriend had the chicken fried steak sandwich with fried okra. The okra was greasy (noticing a trend?), and a tad underseasoned, but overall good. The sandwich was tasty, the bread was excellent, but there wasn't much in the way of toppings, and the chicken fried steak itself was a bit too greasy for my girlfriend.

In conclusion, the food was good! It was greasy, yes, but not overly so. I'll be returning, and I hope more people find this place!

ET- USMC Viet Nam Vet Broken / Arrow. Me and wife tried the RoseRock Cafe and it was Great! Quality food and huge portions! Price was very reasonable for everything you received. Her Ruben and fries were excellent as was my Club sandwich with bacon and side of onion rings. We both brought home a carry out and I am a Big eater. We cant wait to go back and try different items. Hear the Mac n cheese is excellent. Biscuits and Gravy on Saturdays is suppose to be Awesome so I will be there Saturday morning. A Real Sleeper in food that Tulsa isn't aware of I'm sure. Give it a try and you'll be coming back like me!

Amazing!. The Roserock Cafe is on on 44th and Mingo in the the Gardners book store strip mall. You can get a coupon from restaurant.com and according to the owner they will be in Amazon local as of tomorrow.

I am not shi**ing you when I say, I just ate the best sandwich in my life! It was amazing! I got a roast beef with provolone and bacon on sourdough and Jenn got the Turkey sandwhich with cheddar and bacon. For sides, Jenn got the potato salad and I got fries. She said the potato salad was great(I can't vouch for it because I won't taste anything with the word salad in it). We also had a cranberry white chocolate blondie (to my disappointment this was a dessert and not a uh nevermind) in any case, it was awesome. The french fries where thick and hand cut and awesome. The quality of the food was superb. The meats where thick cut and taste great.

Prices did reflect the quality of the food. My roast beef sandwich was $8.50 and Jenn's was $7.50. We both added bacon and that was an extra buck I think. You are going to spend a few more bucks here, but well worth it. I walked out stuffed full. For two sammies with bacon, fries, potato salad and dessert it was about $22 before my coupon.

The sole waitress is a sassy gal who gave every customer a hard time. Personally I like this kind of waitress, but some may not. She knew the menu well, gave good suggestions when we asked and was very attentive.

I would absolutely go back and pay full price at the Roserock Cafe. This is even a better sandwich than Moonskys on Pine!! It is my go to sandwich for now on. The sammie from which all others will be compared!!

Just had a little lunch date with the fiance today and I couldn't be happier! The fried pickles were excellent, he loved his club sandwich and ocra, and the tomato basil soup was so silky! It's my favorite tomato soup I've ever had (and I've had a LOT of tomato soups). The atmosphere was very chill and the interior is adorable. We will definitely be coming back.

HIGHLY recommend eating here. Food is delicious, and they make the best mocha in town. It doesn't hurt that it's inside Gardner's Used Books, either. One can just...accidently saunter over to the books...and accidently buy them all.

Awesome staff. I usually get a sandwich here and I haven't been disappointed. Very clean and its also part of a book store. If I was to say one thing that disappointed me, it would be they don't open very early. I would like to stop by before work.
