I was craving pulled pork....Full Moon was close so I pulled in. My lunch was delicious but expensive $16! I choose pull pork plate with chow chow and pickles on the side along with tater salad and bbq beans no bun and several glasses of tea. I'll was very happy and full when I left and not even upset about the price - I got a lot of food.
Got great food, atmosphere is wonderful, entire staff, wants you to have an enjoyable meal.
Try the beef brisket!
Dined here for the first time today. Food and customer service both were awesome! Pork nachos come very recommended. Riblets and fries were great, as well! Nice dining experience, down-to-earth and simple setting. Just what you would want in a BBQ place.�

I only get over to Tuscaloosa once every couple of months, but when I do I go get one if their mouthwatering brisket sandwiches! Delicious!

First time visit, I took my family there who were down from Oregon visiting. They loved it! They raise show pigs so they have had their share of pork. My son said, it was the best he had eaten!!
Friendly people great food and great place to watch a game.

Best BBQ since I have been here. Love their dipping sauce and they have the biggest onion rings ever. Can't wait to try all on their menu.

Very good BBQ. Plate is a decent portion as well with 2 sides, toasted bread and their famous chow-chow, which is a light to medium heat for the spicy side but not too hot, just right. I enjoyed it with the meat. The sweet tea was that good sweet southern style we all love and yes, for anyone wondering, they have the good ice (pic included).
The booths have plexi dividers to protect the tables. That's done nicely. They are wearing masks and the floors have stickers as reminders thanking you for social distancing.
Go to the counter for a refill and to toss garbage there are bins to the left of the main counter.
*Update. Returned for another round. Come hungry, leave happy! This time around I am more observing to smaller details to help anyone who may be interested. First, yes, they have a wheel chair accessible ramp.They give you a number when you dine in, the tables have stands thes can slip in. This will help the staff find your table to bring your meal. There is a garbage and tray return at the front on both right and left side. One side has straws and extra BBQ sauce for your convenience. And for the value, I'd say it is well worth the money spent. Highly recommend!
I've been ordering take out here for several years. Their food is consistently delicious everytime. I finally tried something new... 1/4 BBQ chicken, white meat, and it literally melted in my mouth. I've never tasted better!
I haven't been there in years so I didn't know we were ordering so much food lol.. the portion I ate was good though. I needed 4 togo boxes🤷
Full Moon BBQ is a franchise in Alabama. Within weeks of visiting the Birmingham drive-thru to the dinning room in Tuscaloosa this is amazing BBQ.
The bbq pork sandwich is just awesome as is the brisket.
It is very lean meat, not filled with a lot of fat and tuck pieces.
The have a chow chow sauce that is different. Does bring the heat when you least expect it.

One of my Favorite Barbeque Joints ANYWHERE!! I usually get either a large Brisket Sandwich or, Large Chicken Sandwich oh my goodness delish. I LOVE The smoked wings, & The ribs are SLAP YOUR MAMA GOOD!! "SMOKE"( I call him the rib master does his thing!!) The sides are Awesome,the desserts are too. Best sweet tea hands down. Gotta have extra sauce especially that white sauce- not cause it's dry because it's NOT! I just drown my food!Very friendly employees. I just Love. FULL MOON!!
The food is always excellent and the service is great. Recently we ordered take out for the whole family but when we got to the store they could not find our order. It turns out that they had given our food to someone else. The manager came out and owned what had happened. To make up for it they provided us with some extra sides and gift card for our next visit. The situation was handled very professionally and they remade the order and got it out to us very quickly. We will definitely be coming back again.
Pretty good. The green tomatoes were thick but well flavored 😋
