I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was and the impeccable service our waiter provided us! I had the pastrami melt with fries zucchini. Hadn't been in for years, but was in the neighborhood. Food and service are still wonderful. The paint's a little thin in spots, but that's pretty much normal for a neighborhood diner. Can recommend, and do.
A few of the All American Rest left in the OC. I loved it. My mom had never been here before. She totally fell in love with the freshness of their hot-dishes. We're definetely coming back. Spires the last comfort food restaurant, one of 3 left (I believe) food has stayed the same for years, the people have come and gone but you can't beat the French Dip sandwich with Onion Rings and a side of Cheese Bread.
