First impression, the place was packed on a Saturday night. Menu are scanned on the table, the guys do some around to get your order. We got mild for most of our dishes. The numbing chilies did it’s job. We really liked the beef noodle casserole and spicy wontons. The lamb mutton dish was good, since it’s mutton, the meat is not as tender. Overall we enjoyed all the dishes. Three dishes plus a beer. Total was about $40 per person.
We really enjoyed this food. We are definitely returning for more. The Lamb, boiled fish, potato salad, plum juice, cucumbers, and cold seasoned noodles were amazing.
Super spicy, and pretty tasty. The dumplings were definitely my favorite. The Smoked Tea Pork Ribs were a bit dry and not too spicy, unfortunately. The Chicken with Rattan Pepper was spicy but not too much flavor. I loved the Fried Rice Cake with Black Syrup, but if you're not into rice cake and super sweet stuff you might not like it!
The people dining in was very much Chinese and the conversation sounded pretty happy and content. I have eaten 'chinese' in India, Europe, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. But the dishes I got were pretty different and tasty. Loved the crab, lamb, fried rice and bamboo shoots preparations. The evening was great.
Kick to the mouth spice and flavor🌶️. The chili, spices and aroma occupy your senses as you chow down on the dishes here. Would definitely eat here on a cold day as the food will definitely warm you up. I would recommend ordering the toothpick lamb to share and maybe two orders as they go out pretty quick because of how tasty it is. It gets really busy towards the evening and they would seat people both inside and outside. The staff was friendly and will help you order if you haven't tried szechuan cuisine before.
Update: the dishes still deliver the same experience to this day and the restaurant continues to be busy in the evening.
The food was unexpectedly good. But, we received the rice at the last lolz. Also, they kept missing our beverages. We understand that the busyness is why it occurs. The waiters weren't particularly friendly and attentive. Other than that, the food was fantastic and well worth the 45-minute wait.
Delicious food, great service. Long lines but worth wait. The lamb skewers were spiced just right. Savory dishes. This is not bland Chinese food. One of the better spots for flavor in SoCal wrt authentic Chinese food. Way to go Impression!
Food is good. Service is okay. Atmosphere is non-existent. But food was good. I feel like this place caters exclusively to Asians but all skin tunes are welcomed. The waiting staff speaks passable English. Plenty of parking. In summary, it could be one of those places you frequent or one of those places where it’s one and done kind of a situation. If you are tired of dim sum, give this place a try.
Restaurant Very clean, just need to scan the barcode and order on your phone. Fast service.
Good food
Tasty SiChuan cuisine. Heaven for spicy lover.
Super delicious! Plenty of parking nearby, arrived at 2pm and the queue didn't take long. Sliced Pork in Minced and Qiaojiao Leshan Beef com are FIVE STAR recommendations! The Tea Smoked Pork Rib tasted a little bland.
Loved it! I had the Mapo tofu and those Sichuan corn peppers are fire!. 100% recommend this place. 太好吃了!
I love Chinese food like there's no tomorrow but it's slightly hard to find one around where I live (close to LAX). There's mostly American or indo Chinese which is nothing like the authentic ones. My Chinese friend took me to this place and everything from service to food was so amazing. We got so much food that I can't even remember it all. Some items we got were toothpick lamb (My favorite), mapo tofu, wonton soup, and pork ribs. Mapo tofu was out of the world. I wish we had ordered spicy pork ribs, the smoked one we got was good but not great. I can't wait to go back to this place and I recommend this to any Chinese food lovers.
Went with colleagues for the first time here and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Out of all items tried today, we all enjoyed this dish "boiled fish fillets in chilli sauce". I recommend this place if in mood to try out schezuan style cuisine.
Where do I begin?! The food is amazing it comes out so fast. We ordered fried rice cold noodles dumping Kong pow chicken deep fried shrimp and wow!! Most delicious food I have had. If you don't like spicy then ask for it mild but the spicy is delicious.
Very authentic Sichuan food. Duck was cooked just right. Spicy chicken was very tasty. The yam in the steamed ribs were really good!
Great selections of authentic Sichuan dishes. We ordered lamb casserole, fiery kidney, Mapo Tofu and boil fish fillet in chili sauce. They were all very delicious. Service is great and very nice decor. Will try different dishes next time.
This place was a hidden gem! Had no idea it was in this shopping center and it was delicious! They service was friendly and fast. They dishes classified as spicy were SPICY 🌶
If you’re looking for authentic Sichuan food, look no further. I had no idea this place was in Tustin until a friend highly recommended I try it out. Every dish I tried was tasty. I have no idea what a couple of the dishes were but they were tasty.
