Enjoyed lunch at Clear Springs today. I was impressed with the quality of food. My chicken salad had real, hand-breaded chicken, not prebreaded, prepackaged, frozen chicken planks. Shrimp Brouchette with half cooked bacon. This is the second time in the last month. Not again gotta try Happy’s. The food is too expensive to be of such poor quality. Very disappointed this place is not what it used to be. The bacon in center very undercooked. It has an odor to it.
The food was excellent and serving very large. The onion rings are the world’s best. I had delicious barbecued shrimp with string beans and rice. My husband had a huge country fried chicken with cream gravy, mashed potatoes and corn. Our server, Emily, was friendly and helpful as was the Hostess. T

Good food, alot of fried food but all tasted fresh. Atmosphere was locrlu and wait staff well trained. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a seafood fix in tyler.
Food was great. Service was also very good. Overall great experience. Had fried mushrooms as starter and fried catfish platter for the main. Very tasty. Sauces were delicious.
