Been probably 20 years since I had a meatball sub from there and it still tastes amazing and just the way I remember it

Slow service during last visit. Waited at least 15 m to get order in, then the lasagna came out about 10 minutes after the pizza I usually give Bruno's 5 stars because we always love the food. I've been eating here since the late 70's! So yummy. But the last time we were there the service was very slow. The waitress got our drinks, but we needed a couple of more minutes to decide on the order. Then she didn't come back. So after about 15 minutes (or more), I finally got up and went to the counter to ask if she could get our order. When she got to our table I asked what had happened (why she had not come back), and she just said she had been answering the phone because it had been ringing a lot. I don't think she apologized. The phone WAS ringing, but the inside wasn't busy. We DO understand about staffing issues these days, but they didn't say that was the problem- so we don't know if that was it or not. Still, the food was sooo good.

Went there for dinner, because the Jacksonville location was too crowded for me. Great experience, I come here often to pick up deliveries, but this was my first time eating here. The food came in a timely manner and the waitress was polite and friendly! My food was good and I'd definitely come back.
