Fabulous place! Food was amazing! Service was excellent. Loved the atmosphere! Highly recommend to everyone! Oh and the pepperoni bread was too die for! 😀
Great food, excellent tea (I have to have good tea), appetizers were good too. Had to wait a little longer for the food but so worth it. And that cheesecake .... WOW !! Will definitely go back again !

Love this place. My favorite appetizer is the Bruchetta Sundae, it's my reason for going. However, they have changed the little grilled toast to a pizza looking cheesy bread. Just not the same. � Not that is was bad, it just wasn't what we "came" for. I will say, they brought us some of the toast after seeing how disappointed and displeased we were. Said it was changed by corporate. Bad call on this, corporate. �
Split an Italian Cobb Salad with My Sweet Beloved because their salads are practically a meal by themselves. Mouth exploded with flavor sensations.
Sweet Beloved had the Hercules and loved it - what she could finish. I had the Pasta Trio. Excellent.
Service excellent even though we never received our FREE Pepperoni Bread. (?????)

Oliveto's is a great restaurant in Tyler. Don't think I've had anything I didn't like!! Their crab cakes are superb. Service is always good and manager PJ is the best!! Not only is Oliveto's a great place to eat, they are an awesome asset to the community!
The food is amazing!!! Great service and a nice atmosphere. We have ate here many times and always had the best food.

Accomadated an extremely large group with late notice, provided wonderful service and never seemed overwhelmed. Overall, super impressed and still good food.
I used oliveto for my office staff lunch & we loved it. Everyone was saying how good it was. Will definitely be ordering more from them. Highly recommend the chicken pesto & the cheesecake!!!
We had the Cedar Plank Salman. It was great. Friendly staff & we felt well taken care of.
The food and service was great. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and made suggestions.
I had the tilapia and it was wonderful. My wife had the mac and cheese, again wonderful! We did have the bread pudding and it was great!!

Their specials are awesome! We go all the time for their 1/2 price appetizers and pizzas after 8pm. Everything always tastes great. Try the crab cakes!!! Love the fact that they don't have a hundred tvs blasting you from every direction. It's a great place for dinner with friends or date night.

Visited Oliveto on a Monday night; they were not very busy. We ordered the Asiago Spinach Dip for our appetizer. The spinach dip did not disappoint at all; it was very good!
For the main course, I ordered the Caliente Chicken. The Caliente Chicken had great flavor and spice. I was very pleased with that dish. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmesan, which she also liked. For dessert, we ordered the deep dish cookie. The cookie was a little bit over cooked, but was still a tasty treat.
Aside from the overdone cookie, the only other, “less than 5 star experience” was the service.
The restaurant was somewhat slow and so was our service. It took our server a very long time to get back to our table many times. He also was not the most observant. (Taking empty plates that had been put on the edge of the table, asking us if we were ready to order, etc.)
I think some of this can be attributed to the fact that he was the only server I saw during our visit. Again, they were slow, there were only about 7 tables occupied. However, I think our server was servicing all of the tables.
Overall, we were very pleased with our visit and plan to return in the future.
Fast service. My wife and I ordered our food and it was ready in no time. Our waitress, Katie, was very nice and made sure we were well taken care of without being in the way. Great atmosphere, quiet, food was outstanding. My wife cleared her plate of shrimp marsala, I had the basic spaghetti and meatballs which let me tell you were beyond phenom (I couldn't finish). Awesome place, awesome staff, awesome food. Definitely going on the regular go-to list
Amazing food and we were able to share a super Romantic evening. Server was super friendly, will go back again.
I read the reviews before I went, so when I arrived to the front door I knew there would be a sign about them being short staffed. There were a few people already sitting while I was being seated at the bar. The bartender took my drink order and tended to a few other folks along with getting another woman order ready.
I ordered jalapeno risotto first then as shes bringing it to me I hear her say they only have one cook. Okay!? Then she has to leave to get to get second job, yet you would hav never knew she was rushing out to go pick up her son( I heard all that while sitting). She came back to take my order and I asked for my bill while I had a chance, I knew she was busy there was only a good six of them there.
Anywho, I didn't care much about parts of the risotto (mushrooms) yet it was favorable. I also ordered the 3 skillet al forno and the sauce in itself is amazing. Not to bold but not weak either, so yeah the experience and food was delicious.

Today, my husband took me on a surprise date to Tyler from Shreveport, Louisiana. Eating at this restaurant was a blessing AND a curse. Now I have to live my life knowing that the best Italian restaurant is a TWO hour drive away! 😭
Just kidding, we have no regrets.
We were so blown away by each dish we got from Oliveto. I apologize for the photos of the appetizers, they were SO GOOD that we gobbled them down immediately before I could get a picture. The bread sticks were well worth the money, the calamari was not chewy at all, and their tomato bisque soup is a new favorite of mine.
I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, and my husband described the meatballs as an "art". They were tender, steaming hot, and full of flavor. Somehow, they didn't fall apart when I cut into them despite them not being even slightly dry.
Dessert blew me away as well. Every single dish we got was piping hot and exceeded my every expectation.
To top off our experience, the service was also amazing! She was friendly and took great care of us. Well worth the drive, I hope we can make it back soon!!
The restaurant is understaffed and we had a small wait time to be seated. If you understand this going into the restaurant you can chill and enjoy talking while you wait. When we were seated, the service was good. Our food was enjoyable.
