'Amazing' is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Daniel Boone's! This place is my number #1 favorite restaurant. They are family owned and just celebrated their 20th anniversary of being open in Tyler. The decor is well done and always makes me smile. There are several funny quotes and
Great service, Great food! Highly recommend the Kentucky Pig. I have ordered it twice, fried. Absolutely love it, highly recommend. My daughter got the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, said it was too hot (spicy), however the onion rings were great. Free beans and ice cream included with every meal.
Great food and a very friendly staff. Doesn't look like much from.the outside but you won't be disappointed the moment you walk inside. Whether eating in the restaurant or sitting at the bar, the service is very good. Plenty of choices on the menu from wings to steaks. Great atmosphere in the Tavern
Chicken fried steak was good, taters were runny, the free chili beans and ice cream are a nice treat too. Also the fried catfish is one of the best in town.

Friendly service. Great food
Reasonable prices. I has the pioneer plate- chopped steak with grilled onions and mushrooms and house salad and potatoes. They give you chili beans or pinto. My friend mushroom burger.. After your meal a scoop of ice cream.
We tried this place for the first time today and glad we did. Our waitress was so sweet and it felt like home. We told her it was our first time, asked what she suggested and ordered it on the spot. Their chicken friend steak was delicious! It tasted like it came out of my grandmas kitchen! We loved
I like the atmosphere, really cool signs with catchy/niche sayings like "DON'T DROP YOUR GUN TO HUG A GRIZZLY" I did ask for a really hard sear on my steak they did get the rare part right but the sear did not happen... it was worth going to read the signs and the turnip greens were great
