We usually go to Pings, but today he sat us at a table and recommended the most authentic dim sum we’ve ever tried. Ping is by far the most personable buisness owner my husband and I know. He took the time to recommend and tell us the history of it. Personally helped us make the dishes. 100/10 recommend. You don’t be disappointed.

Simply the best and authentic dim sum between New York and Boston! Everthing is made on the premises and the owners are very personable, visiting every table to make sure things are OK. For me, it is a 40 minute drive each way and worth it. I always order enough so I can have brunch the next day.

We’ve been here countless times over the years (I just hadn’t yet written a review!) - this is our go to Dim Sum place in CT. The dim sum quality is superb, always fresh, and the dumpling skin (especially har gao) is perfection. As a kid growing up in northern CT, my dad would take the family to Quincy, Framingham, Boston, Manhattan, and Brooklyn in search of authentic HK style dim sum. Boy, were we happy to discover a wonderful place in our home state. Not only is dining in a great experience, even the takeout (and we order a LOT of food at once) is neatly and carefully packaged and insulated for us to make it easier to load into the car and stay hot until we get home. Allen (I hope I spelled it right) and Winnie are wonderful - every time we come in, we are treated like family. The service is wonderful. We make a point to bring all of our friends here, and we recommend this place to anyone who’ll listen.

First time here (Wasn’t able to get in last time because of the wait) and it was so worth it. As good, if not better, than the food we get in Chinatown. Will definitely be coming back here and make this our new regular place.

I love this Norwich Chinese restaurant. The restaurant is clean and well decorated inside. Service is fast and the food is fresh. The Thai eggplant is really good. I always get the Happy Family. Hubby got the pork dumplings. Best egg drop soup, perfect for a cold New England night.

Most items are Gluten Free or can be made GF, but some staff don't know that. Unfortunately the menu isn't marked at all. I especially like the Chow Fun w/Beef, pepper beef, and the General Tsao Chicken (which has a little soy sauce, but I believe soy sauce is traditionally technically GF with <5ppm. Still, I take a GF pill from CVS anyway).

This is a rare restaurant that compares to any NYC Chinatown restaurant. There's a huge menu to choose from, and it is reasonably priced. My asian wife loves to pick and choose 7 or 8 items from the dim sum menu for us to share. Everything she picks is really good and tasty. I especially enjoy the shrimp fried rice.

Authentic dim sum restaurant. It’s very popular and I can see why. The dumplings and buns are so soft and yummy. The garlic stir fry vegetables were amazing! The egg yolk buns are a must try! It’s sweet and salty just perfect!!! Overall thought, things are a bit on the salty side so order lots of tea!
