We had my mother's 90th birthday celebration at Green Manor. The Buffett looked like they prepared for their regular crowd- lots of food. Green beans, candied yams, squash, collard greens, Turkey and dressing, ham and their fried chicken, fresh fruit, green salad, banana pudding and peach cobbler. What a feast. We go for lunch but this was a special occasion and it was made more special with the good food and hospitable staff. Five thumbs up. Lol.

I am not a fan of buffets, however this place proved to be the best buffet ever. I will most definitely be back-and this is my new favorite spot. The restaurant is so elegant and nicely set up you can not help but feel like you're in a fine dining restaraunt. Their signature peach puch is the best! Loved the entire dinning experience!
The staff made me feel like royalty. Very attentive & did I mention everything I tasted was absolutely delicious.
Best fried chicken and banana pudding, I have ever eaten. Great environment, staff very nice and polite. Would recommend to anyone, in fact I have already told several people and I just ate there yesterday afternoon.
I feel the same way TinaTanya Morgan Mitchell said it (verbatim) "I am not a fan of buffets, however this place proved to be the best buffet ever. Beautiful, elegant all you can eat restaurant. Relaxing atmosphere, excellent food and service LOVE the peach punch! Be prepared, you will definitely hurt yourself! LOL... The best soul food I've had in Georgia.
Excellent customer service and food. Lovely location, BUT - the grounds were extremely overgrown and needs serious landscaping. Perfect Southern restaurant, worth the drive from Stone Mountain. Also, more advertising needed...
This is the go to place for some good country soul food! The food was fresh and delicious, staff was professional & inviting (they greet you at the door) & covid protocol with gloves for the buffet. This is the go to place for some good country soul food!
The food was pretty good however it wasn't hot enough. The meats and veggies were very palatable. The desserts wasn't very tasty due to the fact it seemed not so fresh. The hostess was great and very accommodating. The plates was hot but I would have preferred a hot steam table for the meats, veggie and etc.
It's all good from the first smell to the last peach tea, Arnold Palmer, or traditional sweet tea. The food is fresh, delicious, and cooked to southern perfection.
The food is good. I can't put it at the top of my list because Ive had better. But its definitely worth it! I got a to go box with enough food to last me all day. The price was worth it. I thought I was gonna spend an arm and leg for a to go box at a buffet.. Nope! I only spent $13. The atmosphere here though... Kinda cool and creepy at the same time! I love the fact that it's a big ol victorian style house turned into a soul food restaurant. I'm from Augusta, so coming here felt like going to grandma's house for Thanksgiving dinner or something! I gotta bring my Mom Dukes here one day!
The food is good and tastes like home cooking. The buffet today had a nice mix of options. My favorite item is the collard greens. The staff is sweet and so is the tea. The price is a little high. The total cost for my lunch, including tax and tip, was $24.73. Overall I recommend this restaurant based on the architecture, the food quality, and the kind staff.
Nice place for take out if you are under 45. Seems like there are a lot of elderly eating in. No issues. It's just not a place I would dine inside. I need lovely places with young professionals. But the food was delicious. Love the history.
5 Stars with a complaint.....
We have been faithful patrons for over 15 years. Understanding that they stop seating at 2:00 p.m., we arrived at 1:58 p.m.. We entered with no sign on the door indicating last seating and was met by the hostess at the hostess stand. She asked us if we were there for takeout. I replied, "no" and she asked me what time it was. I replied 1:58 and she said at this time it has to be takeout. Really? She seats us every time we come in and knows we're loyal. We opted to go elsewhere, but will return in the future even though they don't appreciate loyalty!
