The Mad Crab - University City - Photo album

I love places like these, this restaurant in STL does not disappoint friendly staff, excellent service, seafood is delicious, plan to stay for an hour or two. Well I do, until I peel away all this bag of shell fish!!! Highly recommend, will be back soon. Goes well with a cold beer 🤠
Absolute favorite place for Seafood now. Over 10 meals ordered from here and not once was there one scrap of leftovers. Garlic butter sauce for the win!
First time here. The food was extremely good. They put all your food in a bag for the table to share. They give you plastic gloves to eat with and they personally put a bib on you. In our bag was crab legs, sausage, shrimp, mussels, corn on cob, potatoes all in a very good Cajun seasoned spicy sauce
down to earth seafood spot where you can eat seafood comfortably. great flavors and fresh seafood so i’ll be going back
The food was prepared fresh. The flavor was average. The customer service was above average. The atmosphere was what you expected from a restaurant in St Louis. Overall it was a good experience.
The food was amazing and the staff were super nice. We liked the crab legs so much we went back and ordered more. It doesn’t look like much on the outside but it is worth it!!
Great family restaurant in an up and coming part of town. Heads up: MEDIUM HOT is still SUPER HOT. Go easy unless you like spicy food! Yes it's a little expensive but the memories and experiences are fenominal - a fun time with some average food
I liked this experience very well. We got gloves and an plastic cloth to cover ourselves while eating the shrimp. Our server was nice and the order was well prepared on fair wait time. If you don’t do well with garlic don’t ask for it, it was very strong for me.
Always gotta be leery of Midwestern seafood, but the Mad Crab brings it. We got crab legs with crawfish, mussels, and shrimp with the whole shebang season and mild spice. It was amazing. The sausage was actually the best part. They may direct you away from the mild spice if you do the whole shebang
What looks like a rustic warehouse turned out to be a delicious night of seafood living you too it's name. The walls are scrawled with the memories of past diners--every wall! Including the restrooms. When you are seated they treat of a strip of butcher paper too cover your table. Randy ordered the
Amazing food! Great taste! What seems to be the owner was extremely nice and helpful! As a swede i’ve never experienced anything like it, it made our short stay in STL a 5/5!
this place is hella good. got the angry combo with the whole shebang sauce. had a ton of crab legs and good amount of crawfish and shrimp. price was a little steep at first but after getting our food, it was worth it. I've been to angry crab and this place is just as delicious. it was pretty busy at
