Very nice, inviting decor, not pretentious or too casual. Nice variety on the menu I believe the prime rib was what caught my wife's eye first...
I chose the Hudson Cheeseburger with the horseradish flavored mashed potatoes. Both dishes were fantastic!
Major kudos to Cameron Mitchell for hiring our waitress Abby, she was on top of her game! She never let our drinks go below halfway done before bringing us refills, and even brought us a free dessert when she heard it was a combination of our first visit and my wife's birthday...
We will definitely be back, we highly recommend this restaurant and highly recommend Abby, she is the perfect combination of personable and efficient. She is a true asset, management please take note!
My out of town friend and I were quite pleased at the fare and wine selections. We shared a King Kong sushi appetizer, we both had the arugula salad, and his blackened snapper and my pan seared scallops were excellent. Topped off with the doughnut holes (don't ask, just order them!) and cappuccino made for a first rate dining experience. Oh yes, ask for Casper if he is available as your server. Very knowledgeable and attentive (not bad for an aspiring civil engineer).
I try to always schedule our friend get togethers here. We had and ALWAYS have amazing experiences at Hudson. From the manager Bill making sure everything was on point to our server Hunter taking care of our every need without being asked....perfect! Thanks you Hudson Crew
I LOVE this restaurant! Friendly staff, a perfect menu, most accommodating: the best! Last evening we had a reservation for 13 - separate checks! Our server DAVID was so wonderful ... You will not be disappointed!
Sociable atmosphere at the bar. A great place for anniversary or dates. Food is top notch Cameron Mitchell fare. Best staff in upper Arlington, without hesitation.
This is what I call a 5 star restaurant. Very upscale and great location. All the food I have tried has also been amazing. They have a chocolate cake that is to die for!!!
Atmosphere amazing, food extraordinary, wine paired well with meal, and wait staff made us feel special.
Exceptional service ! Knowledgeable staff, thank you Austin . We would like to give a special thank you to chef Kelby!
This was my first time at H29 and it was fabulous! Tried it during restaurant week and went with the house salad and its wine 🍷 suggestion and the salmon and its wine 🍷 Suggestion. All were very delicious. I got the carrot 🥕 cake 🎂 to go. Overall it was a delightful experience! I will go again! Great date atmosphere!
Are server was the best. The food was awesome 👏 didn't have to wait too long. Love ❤️ it
Wonderful experience! The wait staff, the food (French dip and Buttermilk Chicken sandwiches), and the donut dessert with Carmel dipping sauce were incredible!
One of our favorite places because it ALWAYS is great!
Really enjoyed the food and drinks. All things were delicious! The service left me a little upset. Felt like we were forgotten on the patio. Only saw our waitress every 15 minutes or so and our drinks orders took about 10 minutes to arrive. I'd visit again but hope the staff is more attentive to our table.
Love Cameron Mitchell restaurants. Tonight was first time at Hudson 29, which is a reinvention of American Cuisine. The environment is darker, candle lit or low lights and very romantic, rustic and a modern feel to the whole place. They have the largest wine selection I've personally seen at a restaurant as well.
Entrées: Got the Prime Rib Au Jus and substituted for roasted Brussel sprouts instead fries. I personally didn't care for the texture on how the prime rib was cooked but understand that it's common, which makes it tender. It was a bit too pink and chewy for me as well as I'm not really a red mean eater and the Au Jus didn't do anything at all for the sandwich which was surprising. My son got full BBQ rib rack, other fam members both got the Rigatoni Bolognese, which they loved.
For appetizers we got the cheese rolls (probably best thing I ate all night..these are outstanding and pictured) and the charcuterie board. Surprisingly, the charcuterie board wasnt it for me either (I am not a picky eater and love a good charcuterie board) but didn't care for the cheeses, type of salami, or the tomatoes or almonds and would have chosen a different appetizer if up to me.
For desert we got the pudding one I can't remember the name but had heath, icecrean, chocolate and like a cake/custard type bottom pictured eith candle for my moms bday. I got the Pineapple Upside Donut Holes with Carmel dip...WoW! Pleasantly surprised by the donut holes as I don't really like pineapple upside down cake BUT these were fried and dusted with a sugar coated outside (taste and texture reminded me of elephant ear and funnel cake mix from county fair) with a warm, moist, vanilla flavor with very small pineapple/brown sugar tidbits, NO cherries and you don't even notice the pineapple anyway because of the other flavors. Outstanding and dipping them in the carmel dip...ooowee.😋
My first time, met a couple of co-workers for lunch. I had the Red Snapper Fish Sandwich and side house salad. The bun/bread was soft and perfect, but I didn't eat it all, the fish was absolutely delicious, the side salad was a very generous portion, the dressing was good, very very tasty overall. Aretha was our server and she was attentive at all the right times. She helped me look for an outlet to plug my laptop up and plugged it when we came across an outlet. Very pleasant and patient. Aretha was AWESOME! I really enjoyed the food and service. I will be back very soon😊
The atmosphere is fantastic. The music was a perfect mix of mellow and groove which just made the ambience even better; just jamming and talking while waiting for our food. The menu is really interesting with something for everyone. The blood orange margarita is where it’s at.
First time here.
Very pleasant, calming and relaxing atmosphere.
Our waitress Ally, very kind.
Food was absolutely amazing.
The air conditioning must be on the blink because itb was very, very warm.
Still had a good time.

I chose this resteraunt for me and my fiancé’s date night. I must say this was an excellent choice. We were greeted and seated quickly. Two staff member ensured that were were treated with excellent customer service. The cheese rolls came out of the kitchen fresh and hot. For our drinks we both had a delicious sangria made by talented bar tenders. And for dinner we chose the ribs. The ribs were so delicious. The slab was filled with flavor and fell right off the bone. Along with this we had French fries and coleslaw that i eventually replaced with French fries because I can’t stand coleslaw. Overall the experience was amazing. We chose a great day to have dinner because it wasn’t crowded, we had privacy, and the scenery was amazing. I love how each table has a lit candle and a display of many wines. We chose a Thursday to visit, so if you decide to go on the weekends, don’t expect the same chill crowd. A lot of people eat out on the weekends, so wait times everywhere are usually longer and the waiters, waitresses, and bartenders are usually more busy trying to serve everyone. I'm very thankful for receiving the attention that we got from our waiter and waitress. Remember to be kind and always thank the people who are serving you. Times are hard right now and for some people, it's a battle to get out of bed everyday.
Food was excellent. Service started slow but got better as the food came. Our server had just been sat 3 large tables so we were patient. Once our meal order got in everything came at reasonable pace and food was very good
