The service and the food was excellent. Very friendly staff that take care of your every need. You get your food fast and hot. I highly recommend.
No matter if you eat there or have it to go like we just did , the food and service is the best in Urbana...so good. Had the best omelet and of course biscuits and gravy.
Have eaten here since it opened, love the food, especially the Apple Dumplin's. I always recommend this restaurant to others. Family atmosphere, great service.
Excellent staff...great food....like grandma cooked it for ya....I probably had 10 of the first 100 Apple dumplings myself....are their on their first day open and Ill eat there til my end of days...
I love the food! Especially the fried chicken & the breaded tomatoes!! Not many places one can get breaded tomatoes & AD’s are delicious!
Great home cooking. Love their chicken & noodles. Their breaded tomatoes are great plus not many restaurants serve those. I live in Texas but come to St. Joe to visit relatives. Always a good place to eat!
I'm originally from Champaign-Urbana but now I live in Baltimore, MD. I come back a couple of times a year, my brother suggested we eat here. I'm so glad. The food is home cooking at its finest. I had an omelet with sausage gravy, taters, and biscuits. It was inexpensive and the service was great. We will definitely try to eat here again before heading back to Baltimore.
Have never been disappointed. Great food, fairly, priced, with good service. Just like going home to grandmas cooking.

Haven't been to this place in a long time. So there was 6 adults child & a baby. Small but clean & simply. Friendly staff & waitress awesome. My coffee cup never reach empty! Food was good & lots of it. Menu simple the basics. Had biscuits & gravy Potatoes are real fried yum. kids menu. Good place to just have a nice breakfast. Can't attest to lunch or dinner. Have been living in area for five years. My family came down from Chicago area and we decided to try AD. By far the best food and dining experiences we ever had. Service and atmosphere were first-rate!!! Only regret was leaving without a bottle or jar of apple butter!!! I will be back soon and while visiting, my family will want nothing else. Thanks AD

I took my family here for my Birthday dinner on a Friday night, everyone had an amazing steak and my parents were very impressed with their steaks and the giant bread rolls. Will definitely return. :)

Overall a good dining experience but it costs $4.50 for the one GD pancake that I added to my $15.00 omelet and hash browns. It wasn't even a very good pancake. Denny's is better. $4.50! My breakfast was $24.50 before I added a tip.
Excellent food and service. Always a great place to have a well prepared meal. Cant beat the biscuits and gravy.
Highly recommend Beef and noodles. Great customer service and fantastic filling homemade food. Next time I will go for just dessert. Support the local family owned restaurants they will treat you like family.
