This place is such a great find! The staff is always so friendly and eager to answer questions. The selection is out of this world especially the new Spicy Dark Chocolate ice cream. A must have anytime I’m in Urbana!

Absolutely the best place for treats in Urbana. The popsicles are handmade in so many fun flavors, I recommend the strawberry/mango/kiwi and the prickly pear, but you can't go wrong with any of them. The ice cream is also great and in so many fun flavors! Locally owned, it's just the sweetest sweet spot, an unexpected jewel in an otherwise unassuming strip mall. Don't miss it!

I would travel many hours across the country to eat El Oasis handmade fruit popsicles and ice cream with flavores like pine nut, elote (corn) and advocado (to name a few favorites). Luckily I don't have to. This friendly family owned place is right down the street behind the Walgreens at University and Cunningham in Urbana - as well as at Marketplace Mall. They have a drive through for when you have tons of tired kids on the car. A tiny outdoor space to eat in the sun or plenty of indoor space. Try the watermelon! You will love this place!!!!!

On our first visit the staff was very friendly, happily explained any flavors we didn't have experience with, and offered us tastes of everything before we made our selections. There are fun new flavors to be explored here and just the sheer breadth of choices makes it great fun. I highly recommend it!

Not of variety in food, but the frozen deserts will keep you coming back just to try them all. I love the number 3 sandwich (can't remember its name, but it's the cutlet). Best Mexican desert place I've ever patronized.

Amazingly different flavors unlike anything else in this area! Love the gelato flavors and the tequila ice cream! Watermelon gelato is my personal weakness right now! Please go and try. I want them to succeed!

Fantastic ice cream. The spicy pineapple with the spicy tajin sauce was fantastic; I didn’t realize chili spice and pineapple went together so well. My kid loved her strawberry ice cream and my wife really enjoyed hers (I forget the name but it’s made of some sort of cake) I also got this fancy bread dessert which was nice. We will be back! Try the spicy pineapple with tajin sauce!

Love the ice creams here. Got spicy mango and pistachio, both tastes awesome. Tres leches cake is delicious, Best one I ever had. One star less because the place was smelling little off. Other than that people there are friendly.

All ice cream and Italian ice store-made (in their offsite kitchen). Chocolate was spicy but more milk than dark chocolate. Coconut, Oreo mint, Oreo and fruit flavors were excellent. Small scoops so you can try several flavors

Went here for my first time and was very impressed! The strip mall that it's attached to is pretty unassuming, but this is definitely a diamond in the rough. The prices are super reasonable and the staff is very friendly. Their ice cream tasted really great, and they offer flavors not seen anywhere else in other ice cream shops around town. We didn't try any, but they also had a large variety of cool popsicles that looked really beautiful. Would highly recommend making the trip out to try it for yourself!

Wonderful place. Met the owner today, really great guy. He delivers a unique and quality product while also caring about the community. I've never had ice cream like this before. They were very polite and helpful to me even though I'm an uncultured white person haha. This is one of the true hidden gems of the area. I'll be taking friends here!

I love this little Mexican ice cream shop on Cunningham. It's tucked away in the little strip mall behind Walgreens, I'm surprised more people don't come here but that's okay with me, less crowded so I can get my desserts faster. I got the coconut paleteria, made with real coconut chunks, it's authentic just like you would find all over Mexico and it was so good. The ice cream scoops I got was spicy chocolate, strawberries and cream and corn. The spicy chocolate had a hint of heat, the strawberries and cream was probably my favorite and corn ice cream had little pieces of corn, reminded a little of corn bread but you could taste the natural sweetness of the corn, I recommend. This is a great place to grab something cold on a hot day. They also served sandwiches and tamales if you were a little more hungry and wanted something more filling. They had so many varieties of Mexican flavors I have to come back and try them all. Great for groups or after a dinner date. Support local.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got there for some water based ice cream. The man behind the counter was very friendly and explained everything I avoid dairy and loved that they had tons of options. The milk based ice cream looks great too and there were lots of interesting flavors of both (I got tamarind and pineapple). The paletas looked good too and I'll have to give those a try next time
