My husband and I are there all the time. And I do mean all the time. Why are we there so much? The cafe has awesome, wholesome food. The cooks do a fantastic job and work diligently to bring the best. We love the barista's Al and Alex. They go well above and beyond what is expected. If you haven't tried the bakery goods, you are missing out! How on earth can vegan or gluten free baked good taste so great? These bakers do it. I don't know how they do it, but all I can say is wow! The workers in the grocery section are very kind and helpful anytime you need something. They will hunt it down and find it for you. And last but certainly not least, Mahommed ,who is the owner, is by far a very warm and welcoming soul. I love not just the fact of great food/service, it is a place where people of all different cultures can sit, relax and enjoy one another's company. And now that it is World Harvest/Strawberry Fields, it will grow to be even more. Thank you for all that you offer and so much more!

The deli has full meals for $6ish. Bringing back some of the old SF salads and new ones as well. Great additions of middle eastern influenced dishes as well. My new go-to place for healthy yummy "fast food".

Long ago I shopped Strawberry Fields regularly and fell in love with your (drop) scones. My favorite was the recipe that included orange, pineapple, cranberry, almond ~ if I remember correctly. To this very day I tell the tale ~ and bake my own scones.

The lunch options are awesome! Very good espresso drinks too, great store as usual with expanded options for everything, good fresh bread and friendly staff. The Al-Heetis are definitely doing a lot of things right at the new Strawberry Fields. I'm a fan!

Strawberry Fields has such am amazing inventory of 'good-for-you' products and foods. In a time where I am trying to eat cleaner and use clean products on my skin, SF makes it a little easier. And each and every staff member is super kind and helpful.

I had a vegan vanilla cupcake, and surprisingly, it tasted really good. It seems they make them in small quantities since there was only one vanilla or chocolate cupcake available. If you plan to order a lot, it's best to call ahead. Next to the place, there's an international supermarket that resembles the commons market, offering a wide range of organic foods. The atmosphere was warm, and the air had a spicy aroma typical of a cultural market. The lady at the counter was friendly, and the service was excellent and humble. The cupcake itself was quite large, and I'm not sure if they provide nutritional information for those who count calories. They also had other homemade foods and miscellaneous items on display.

The food was ok for the price. Beef shawarma was ok for the price but it could be more tasty. I liked the turkish coffee. I did not like the chicken kebob; do not expect real kebob when you order chicken kebob. I will probably visit there again for their turkish coffee. The waiteres was nice and attentive.

We had a mixed experience here. We specifically went to Strawberry Fields while traveling through the area because of the reviews in the “Find me Gluten Free” app, and the info on their website indicated still having many GF options. Thankfully they did indeed still have GF cake slices, and the chocolate cake we had was amazing. The lunch options were much more limited however, and the staff was not well informed about what was gluten free or not. Additionally, the staff seemed overall very inexperienced and without written materials to reference for questions that other customers had while we were there. Service was also extremely slow although it did not seem all that busy.

As I am new in town, I have noticed this place while I was walking to downtown Urbana. I decide to give it a try so I ordered kuffa with stewed potato, okra and mushroom ravioli. Everything was delicious, especially the smoky kuffa. A full lunch for only $7 after tax. Will definitely come back.

It took about 20 minutes for me to get my sandwic which, in the moment, felt like a long time. However, the sandwich was pretty good. So in many ways, sitting in an empty restaurant waiting for my food at 1 pm taught me a valuable lesson. I learned that sometimes you just have to listen. Listen - to the humble whirr of the 4 (I counted them ), 4 beverage coolers. Listen - to the tipping and tapping of keyboard keys of the tired looking man in the beanie across the restaurant. Listen - to the old guy behind you who appeared to switch between Arabic - Language news and the previous weekend's NFL highlights, all without wearing headphones. Good sandwiches are all about patience.

Fantastic coffee shop with a fun breakfast and lunch selection as well as some tasty bakery items. The international market attached is incredible with an amazing selection of imported foods. Pasta, cheese, sauce and bread are delicious. Owner is incredibly nice and helpful. Took the time to help me build a gift basket of assorted goods for my mothers birthday. Definitely will continue to go back. Five stars.

I came here on the spur of a moment looking for a smoothie—and I am so glad I did! I ended up trying their falafel wrap and *wow.* Perfect falafel, creamy tahini, and the addition of cucumber and tomatoes to add variety—and all for a reasonable price! I will certainly be back!

Honestly, the grocery section is a little too pricey for me, but I love their yogurt selection. Also, the prepared food is wonderful and competitively priced. So far I have had their cupcakes and a brownie from their bakery, and I just went to their cafe/deli for dinner and got delicious chicken and rice for $5. I will gladly pay $5 dollars for a filling dinner that I do not have to cook. I am a huge fan of the co-op, but I think I can also find the time to become a regular at this place.

OK, their deserts are just plain amazing. Omg, it's wonderful. If you need a good place to go after a first date for dessert, this is definitely worth consideration. Good options for vegan and gluten free people. And if you eat everything, then you'll just be happy!
