A rule of thumb to know if it's authentic Mexican food is if you see Mexicans eating there. And I definitely did see a few Mexicans eating at this restaurant when I first walked in.

Hands down THE BEST Mexican food in the entire CU area, if not the entire state. Grew up near Chicago and the local cuisine there pales in comparison. I visit 2-3 times a month it's that good, and the staff have never missed a beat or forgotten an item. Great place.
Not the same Mexican menu that you see everywhere else. Fresh, flavorful, and love their chips and homemade salsa. Also the owner is really nice.

Great food! Others are correct, there are amazing flavors here. Sampled Pastor Sope, Lengua Taco and Birria Taco. Tacos are loaded with your protein choice and delicious. Sope was beautifully done and the Pastor was perfect. Don't skip the opportunity to try this Restaurant.
Cozy little restaurant with delicious Mexican food. Hidden away close to 5 points in Urbana. Wasn't my first time here and not my last. Prices are very fair also.
Everything was very well seasoned. I went with the chef’s special which included steak, chicken and shrimp. My wife went with the steak burrito. The staff was very nice.
