The students who plan and execute the themed meals here are super polite and very helpful. I had a great experience and the decorations for the Chilean-themed dinner were great.
I have gone to several themed 5-course meals here (all for a reasonable price). The restaurant is hosted by UIUC students in the Hospitality Management program who create a dining experience as their capstone project. The attention to detail and quality are second to none.
This restaurant is a great way to get to know up and coming chefs from UIUCs culinary and hospitality program. The ambiance and menu changes weekly as each senior in the program has one opportunity to design a menu and experience that is uniquely their own.
Spice box is always a great time. The students really show a great deal of effort and passion for their evening menu. Very good food prepared well for a very reasonable price.

2/22/19 - Love Spice Box, the change to try new food in a friendly atmosphere. Fun with friends as it is not a noisy place so good time for conversation.
