In town to watch our son's team play against Utica College, and decided to grab a late lunch before the game. Checked Yelp, and found this place. It was amazing! The owner himself served us and was a great guy! Food was fantastic-had the pulled pork sandwich and a garbage plate (because it's all about the sides 😉), the popcorn was fresh and the beer was cold. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!!

A really fun place! Great food, great waitstaff, great prices. We had 1/2 rack ribs plate ( awesome) and the fish fry. Excellent! Fast service and hot food. Plus a neat atmosphere. Totally recommend. Will definitely be going back.
We visited for the second time today. What amazingly delicious food. Pulled pork on texas toad grilled cheese is loaded with me and flavor, the sauce on the table is perfectly balanced. The place is small but both times we went were between 2 and 3 pm and the place was not crowded at all. Service and atmosphere are A+++.
Ordered 1/2 tray of pulled pork, pulled chicken, salt potatoes, corn, and Cole slaw for our sons birthday party. The food was incredible, everyone loved it. Had 18 people and barely any leftovers. I will definitely be going back to this place. On top of that the patrons at the bar helped me carry the food to my car. Thank you.

i've been back four times and i've always been very happy. Maggie and Mary are great folks, as well as courteous and capable staff members. nice atmosphere and always good music playing in the background. it's become a weekly "spot" for me.

Ordered a full rack of ribs & 4 sides....absolutely delicious...such a generous amount of ribs...fed 3 adults & they were only 1/2 gone....will definitely order again
I won a $50 gift certificate at a Breast Cancer Basket Raffle in Rome so I decided for my daughter's graduation party on July 2nd we would get a full tray of pulled pork and the corn on the cob. Well let me tell you, I definitely recommend them. Their pulled pork was awesome and so was the corn on the cob.

Amazing food!! We had the ribs and chicken with mac&cheese and cole slaw. All of our food was great and served quickly. Great food, great service. Just wish it was in a more family friendly atmosphere.

This place was so awesome ! We had a large party of 20 people. We called ahead and in 15 minutes they accommodated us outside on picnic tables! The waitress and cook were super friendly and the food was phenomenal! They even had lollipops for the kids afterwards which were a hit!
The food here is unbelievably amazing. This is honestly the best BBQ I have had and the portions are huge along with the beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic.) 11/10 for the taste and quantity of food. Everyone should try eating here at least once in their life. This is a true gem in Utica, NY. Good cooking like this doesn't exist anymore.
Have the antacids ready but those shrimp tacos are a revelation. And their nachos are never soggy

Hands down the best bbq around here. Every time I order anything it's so good!! My favorite is the grilled cheese pulled pork on Texas toast!! It is amazing!!! The corn bread is great too!! Everything is amazing!! Just go there and you won't be disappointed!!❤
