I've been meaning to stop by Sammy and Annie for some time but just haven't been able to get there on a weekday. I've been missing out! I finally made it on a day off yesterday, my Utica Passport in hand, and it was great. I'm not normally a Pustie fan, despite being Italian-American and growing up in the area, but their Breakfast Pustie has made me a believer. I got the Breakfast Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Pustie and it's probably the best S.E.C item I've ever had and I've had that combo on bread, bagels, English muffins, in burritos and quiche, and on pizza. The Pustie crust was perfect in taste and texture, the top has a slight sweetness to it which was great with the bit of saltines from the sausage and cheese, the cheese was gooey and noticeable without being too much, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The sausage was also one of the better breakfast sausage I've tasted, really good flavor, not too greasy. All around it was great. The owners were very nice also and super informative. I can't wait to go back!

I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in this little shop! The homemade tomato pie and cookies were fantastic! We were glad we stopped in and were pleasantly surprised at how many local products are available. Wishing you all the best as you continue doing what you do best! Take care :)

Bought fried frozen meatballs and they were excellent
Best greens in the city of Utica. Meatball burger is superb. My 1st time there and won't be my last.

Family-owned and operated; great people, delicious Italian cookies and pasteries. They also carry locally produced products from farms and companies in the area, including their own brand of sauces and condiments.
Do yourself a favor and try this place. Really nothing but good experiences here. Reminds me of a place in New York I loved to visit.
