Very good food. Good flavor and good prices. Great place for eat in or to go. The staff is very sweet. I'll be back.
Stopped in for lunch and had the Village Combination plate. It was excellent as always. The taste and flavors was like I remembered. Highly recommend this dish.
Pre lunch I received chips and salsa. The hot sauce had just enough kick to it. It's one of my favorite to have.
My server Yessenia was awesome too. She was on top of her game. Greeted me in a timely manner. Smiled and was warm and friendly. I never had to ask for a thing as she always checked up on me and refilled my drink without having to ask.
Highly recommend asking for her as your server.
The place was lunch time busy and it was good to see since we have shut down for the last year.
The parking lot has plenty of spots to park has well as handicap spots. They accept cash, credit cards and debit. Cash tips appreciated.
I stopped in at 8:34p thinking they closed at 10p, but it was actually 9p. I felt a little guilty when I realized that, but they happily seated me and my wife. Our waiter was very friendly and gave a great recommendation for the Mexican Pizza appetizer. After that we had a Wet Burrito which was amazing as well. I was happy to find that they seasoned everything well without overdoing it. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would recommend it to anyone.
Great food. Fair prices. Big plates. Our server was friendly and very helpful. Genuine Mexican fare. The only concern (because I'm older) is that the soft lighting although adding to the ambience made the menu hard to read. (Of course if I brought a pair of readers that wouldn't be a concern.
I am not sure why it took me so long to try the Mexican Village. I was happy with EVERYTHING I got tonight. Chips and salsa, dark red one is awesome! I go the chicken chimichangas, delicious!! Strawberry Margarita was very good. Our server was fantastic! Josh was not only friendly, but very attentive to my family. we waited about an hour, but its Saturday and service was fast once we were sat. Definitely going back!
Easily the best of the best Mexican Restaurants in Metro Detroit. I've tried them all. There is no better value for delicious food and generous sized Margaritas than at this location. I am instantly uplifted when I walk in the door as the staff takes excellent care of you. The earlier you arrive the better, as there is usually a wait later in the day. That applies for all days of the week and for good reason; The place just rocks! My record is three Large house Margaritas in one sitting there and I wouldn't recommend the faint hearted to attempt to break that.
Mexican village has a lovely ambiance, very welcoming and clean. I ordered Taco barbacoa and it was top-notch. It was served hot, it looked wonderful, and there was more than enough. I can recommend the margaritas there, but be careful if you are driving, they are not chintzy with the alcohol! Our server was very friendly and took care of our needs quickly.
Excellent food. Prompt, courteous service. I ordered the Mexican Village combination, which includes a number of menu items. All of the items were very good. Chips and salsa are very good but no longer bottomless. The first basket of chips is complementary. Each additional basket cost $1.
