Be prepared for a long wait on sunny summer weekends, folks. It's worth it :-)
The Rhubarb Crumble is an unexpected delight - try it if you see it!

I am not sure if this is even what it is called. It had the old name that has closed (the Chocolate Shoppe). But the location seems right. The customer service was awful. It seems to be run by a family perhaps, with 2 boys that were rude. The woman seems overworked and seems to be trying but you can tell she is overwhelmed. We ordered the fish sandwich that came plain. When we asked for tartar sauce (which should come with fish), the young boy said you didn't ask for it. The woman stepped in and was apologetic and got it from the back. But when we got it, it was green chunks of something and did not resemble any kind of sauce and we chose not eat it. The corn nuggets and fries were decent. One of us had the soft serve and it was fine. The place was dirty. They need to reorganize or hire help if they can. The boys should only take ice cream orders and not take food orders or money. The woman was using the number system which should help but not if the boy delivering the food doesn't use it. He delivered the wrong food several times to people. I wish them well and hope they figure it out. It can be a goldmine over the nice weather!

This place has definitely gone down hill. It uses to Be a great place with good food and ice cream. The last few years tho. The only thing they have now. Is eight random flavors of hard ice cream. The only reason I gave them two stars. Is they carry may favorite one. Exhausted parent.

Well, I never had a chance to try it. Was in line for 15min and ended up leaving. There were 3-4 teenagers working the place. Not one could manage the register. Took the whole time I was in there to ring one person up. On top of that they were incredibly unprofessional yelling and laughing instead tending to customers. Ended up down the street at Roxies Sweet Confection where we were helped right away and the ice cream was Fantastic!

A good variety of handmade ice cream treats to choose from. They'll make any of their ice cream into a shake, so we had mint chocolate chip ice cream shakes. Really good! Friendly staff. It hit the spot after a few hours hiking in the hot sun. Nice atmosphere too.

This ice cream is just dangerous. My wife got me a hard scooped chocolate ice cream plus peanut butter cup, plus peanut butter syrup. Just amazingly good. This is the spot to come for ice cream.

Place was not that busy but the soft serve was not the right consistency and the employee stated it to the manager before she told him to give it to us.
For the kids they handled the sprinkles for their ice cream with their bare hands (which is gross even without covid).
They didn’t have milk for milk shakes. So we ordered nachos. The employee took my money and then with his bare hands grabbed the chips to put into the container..... after I said something the manager dumped out the chips but proceeded to do the same exact thing of grabbing chips with her bare hands.
Just not establishment that seems to be concerned with health code or public safety.

Delicious ice cream. So creamy. Tried the pumpkin ice cream and it was amazing. We had our dog with from hiking at the parks and they offered a Pup sundae of vanilla soft serve with some milk bones in it in a paper cup. My dog loved it! Thanks for having treats for the fur kids too.

We used to love Country Cupboard. I have over 25 years of memories of ice cream on the patio. I can't believe they enclosed the porch to add a hokey gift shop. What used to be a nice little place to stop on a summer day has turned into an eye sore in my opinion. It's small, dark and cluttered inside with a loud, rude proprieter. They really lost a lot selling out on the patio. :(

The staff was absolutely wonderful! They even brought a little side treat outside for our dog, Bear! They had so much to offer! Great place!

The staff was friendly and helpful as I debated all of the ice cream options. The lemon ice cream was very smooth and creamy. Nice stop after a day outdoors.

Staff is very friendly. Family atmosphere and best fries ever. Once we went there with our dog (stayed on the porch) and the lady even had snacks for him. Will be coming back for suređź–’

Service was absolutely exceptional and fun. My daughter couldn't decide on flavors so flavors so the gal offered up her awesome scooping skills and got all four flavors on one cone! Great service, fair pricing, cool atmosphere, staff was fun and the Fat Elvis ice cream is an absolute must try!

I was so sad to see the change in this little ice cream place! I hadn’t been there for several years. We used to ride our bikes on the canal with our kids and stop there. It was always so clean and cute, the owners were wonderful! I honestly was confused when I rode my bIke up today- I thought it was the wrong place and that I should ride my bike further down the road! The front deck was gone, weeds were everywhere, giant wasps were flying all over, and garbage piled up inside the front fenced in area. The inside was all cluttered and not the cute and tidy place of my memories. I had a scoop of ice cream and a bottle of soda. The ice cream was tasty, I will say. My friend said her cone was stale, though.
