Restaurant was nice and the ambiance was even better. They had a surprisingly wide selection of wine.
Have to be honest though... I am pretty adept at distinguishing one wine from another and when one is corked. One staffer attempted to deceive me about the wine that I ordered.. Additionally I ordered a ribeye and I got a New York strip. Not really my cut of meat but it was actually pretty decent.
Service was phenomenal but after going there three times; it seems to be relegated to about two staff members. We will definitely go back though.

Their loaf bread is amazing. It was really worth ordering 2 more, $1.50 each but oh so good with their honey butter..was truly my dad's favorite. I ordered the spaghetti and I loved it, the meat sauce was so flavorful but the only thing I didn't really like was that it cost $12.99 and the portion was not that big at all, I'd get the spaghetti when they have it on special though. Everyone loved their food and the steak for my dad and husband really hit the spot they said, perfectly cooked and hot. First visit here while on vacation, we will come back. Friendly staff and the environment is very relaxing and inviting, was worth the trip to grab this amazing grub.

Great service, was expecting better steak. Over cooked and a lot of gristle. The grilled squash was good and so was the loaded baked potato.

I love their food, Pepper Steak and Chicken Fried steak, you don't need a knife to cut it. It's so tender and the flavor was on point😍
I'll be back for sure, we were in town for a barrel race..

Wife got the Jacks house burger. Overall good for a plain cheese burger. But the lettuce was a little funky looking. Now I order med rare 14oz ribeye. Came out extra rare. Good thing I like rare but ordered med rare so could share a few bites with my wife. But even if it had been cooked right Half the steak was fat. And the flavor was somehow blan. Knives were extremely dull and shredded the meat. The staff seem to only acknowledge when needing to place an order and pay for food. The wine was good. Tried to order a bottle but apparently they only had 1/2 bottle left.
Wish we would have just gone to the store and cooked our own steaks.

A few people have told us about this place and how great the food and service was. Well they were correct. The steaks are delicious and OH MY the fried pickles are outstanding.

I’d say give it a try, but avoid it’s namesake - the steak. Sides were all delish, but I’m quite positive the (quite expensive) steaks were frozen steaks with liquid smoke and pre-grilled on marks…dry, no marbling, lots of gristle. I saw some other folks get chicken dishes that looked really good, so I’d try it again, but just not the steak again for the price.
