We ordered a big sampler and sliced pork plate. We like their sliced pork plate best among what they have. Its spicy and sweet sauce is pretty good. But the chicken is dry. I tried their chicken two times and both time were disappointed. Not gonna order chicken again. Their fries are dry and soggy but the coleslaw is good. Their food quality is not consistent. The service is good.

This place is 10/10. Super clean and very good. Got the bbq pork egg rolls, grilled chicken sandwich, pulled pork and the ribs. Everything was good except for the fries. They need to put some seasoning on the fries but other then that AMAZING

I had the Cuban, my son had the grilled cheese. We both got the loaded tots for an appetizer, they neglected to put the crispy onions on the tots. The food was good, we just didn't get what we ordered when it came to the appetizer.

We are Sonny's fans going back 30 years. We do not have one in our state, but we normally find ourselves eating at Sonny's 5-10 times a year in various locations.
We visited Sonny's Valdosta, GA the day after Thanksgiving about 1:00 PM. We were a party of two and we were taken care of well by our waitress. The food was great, as expected and we enjoyed it very much. I had the AYCE dry rub ribs and they were fantastic. These ribs had more fat on them than any ribs I have every eaten at Sonny's. More fat is super fine by me, but I wonder if this is a permanent change or if maybe they had to purchase from a different supplier in these strange supply chain times.
Either way, we will be back to Sonny's again and again.

Visited on 12-9-21. Quality and service was excellent. I enjoyed the sampler platter and the wife had the smoked chicken dinner. More food than we could eat. Always enjoy Sonnys BBQ. 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Katie gave us great service.

Megan our waitress was great. This is a traditional stop for us as we go to Florida. The big deal bbq sandwich was really good and my wife thought her grilled chicken sandwich was wonderful. Best we've had at a sonny's in a while

Worst dining experience ever! Walked into a filthy restaurant with tables that had not been cleaned all over the restaurant, trash and food all over the floor around them. Waited for the server forever to come take our order. When our food finally arrived, it was cold. The meat was cold, fries cold, bread cold. We sent it back and was given a "new" plate. The meat and fries were still cold. The server never even bothered asking if it was better, nor did the manager. This is our second attempt eating at this restaurant and both experiences were bad. We won't be back.

I eat at the Valdosta location. And the server I had this Monday, her name was jessica and she is the best server I have yet to have at any restaurant she always smiling and we had amazing service! Her hospitality is greatly needed at every restaurant! Will be back and will request her!

Probably the worst service I've ever had. The server walked by us 5 or 6 times and never bothered to come over until the hostess noticed we had been sitting and waiting on drinks for over 20 minutes and apologized and went and got our server. Then she got our order and it was fine. Food was okay- nothing to brag about. She was okay after that, but brought the check quickly and didn't bother to ask if we wanted another drink/to go box/refill anything. As I'm writing this and still waiting on her to bring the card back, the food runner just rudely told the table next to us "no your server can do that" and then walked off to a guy who was just asking a question about the food. Simply horrible service.

Waited about 10 minutes after sitting down...no service so I had to go “find” someone to wait on us. Finally, after another several minutes, a server came over and took our order, but didn’t return with our drinks (iced tea). When she finally brought our “drinks”....she only brought water and no ice tea, so we said “forget the iced tea.” By the time we got and finished eating our food, we had been sitting there for more than 45 minutes. In all fairness, we LOVE Sonny’s! We stopped at this one, in Valdosta, as we were traveling from Michigan to Florida, but typically we’ve had good service and great food at the others we’ve tried.

The food tasted good and would of been even better if it was hot. Redneck rolls were horrible. But the mac n cheese was on point. Like I said it was all room temperature nothing was hot.

Our server was but the food was horrible. They served us under cooked chicken. It was pink and oozing water and the under lining of the skin was still slimmy around the fat. It was raw! We send it back and they sent us out some more raw meat saying that all the meat was cooked at the same time so all of it was like that. Which means they served the undercooked meat to others. We told the waitress to bring our bill and asked the manager for a discount being that we spent a little over $97 and we couldn't even eat and that I could just re-cook our meat at home the way it should be. She returned saying that the manager would not honor that being that he gave us another 4 pieces of meat which were still pink and uneatible! I just paid our tickets and left. Never will come back again!!!!

Awful service and food. Brisket platter was cold and sll they did was microwave it. Had to ask for baked potato condiments. Potato was cold by the time my dad got them. Where are the salad plates? Just awful. Paid cash and she tried to get a $10 tip. Sorry you got the silver. I don't play those games.

I have had issues with the drive thru on more than one occasion, but today took the cake. I ordered a rib and chicken plate for myself and when I attempted to order for my kids, I was interrupted and told that unless the child was with me, I couldn't order a kids meal.....I happened to have both of my kids with me, but that is only because my husband is out of town.
This Sonny's has no clue what a drive thru is for....it is for people who don't want to eat in and can pick up something and take it home to the family. Not load everyone up just to come back home again!!!! What about working parents who are trying to pick up something on the way home or just the child needs to eat. I am over it, I would rather drive across town to the competition than to come back here.

Worse service ever! Tea glass sat empty for 15-20 mins before server even asked if I wanted a refill, after walking by our table a total of 13 times. Mind you my glass was at the edge of the table. She seen it I know she did. I saw her look at it. I could understand if they were busy but they weren't. There was probably only 10 tables tops in there. And many many servers. Baked beans were nasty and meat was cold. The person who brought our food to the table reached over my empty glass and didn't even bother to ask me about a refill either. Needless to say IF we do go back I will definitely make sure I am not put back in that servers section again..
