Good usual Mexican food. Good service. Good chips/salsa. Margaritas are OK, the Texas Margarita is pretty good.
Wish they would dim the lights a little. Would have a better feel/atmosphere.
Good Value - Good tasting Mexican food. We have been here twice now that we moved to town plus the one in Tifton during the move here. We've been satisfied every time. Love the Fajita for One Tuesday special. So much food, you will have lunch for the next day. During World Cup they have all soccer matches on!
This Mexican place is spectacular! The "pollo veracruz" is delicious and if you have a DD with you the Texana Margarita will put you in your place. The service is fast and very friendly. Outdoor and indoor seating is very accommodating no matter how many people you may bring. Absolute must if you're in valdosta.
Good Experience. I visited this restaurant for the first time recently. Based on the other reviews, they may have had issues previously, but from my experience it seems that they have corrected those issues. My family was greeted immediately after entering the door. The table we were given initially was too small and we asked to move to a booth. They moved us quickly without any hesitation. The service was the best I've gotten in a restaurant in a long time. They were packed (Christmas Holidays), but the food was coming out of the kitchen quickly. The food was hot and delicious. We will be going back there tonight.
Absolutely love El Cazador! I have been eating there since their opening and I have never, and I do mean never have been disappointed with ANY meal! I have tried almost EVERYTHING on the menu, except the combinations because in my opinion its Americanized food. Not only is the food great, the margaritas are the best in town& you get what you pay for. The only things I can see being inconsistent is service and that is why Tara and David are my favorite servers.

Best Mexican food in town... We go here often and I try something different everytime and have yet up dislike anything. My husband never strays from the enchiladas suizas.
I've eaten Mexican from west coast to east coast. This is great food! Strong margaritas! The burrito Veracruz is amazing- fish and shrimp at mexican risky- but not here! The chipotle cream sauce was wonderful. Going my second day in a row before leaving to go home. :)

Best Mexican Restaurant in Valdosta. My boyfriend and I absolutely love this restaurant; we go there whenever we can. It's pretty authentic for American Mexican food and I have never gotten anything there that wasn't absolutely delicious. The queso is real and buttery and the salsa and guacamole are obviously freshly made in-house. The Chile Rellenos are my all-time favorite. Absolutely would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.

This place really surprised us. My boyfriend is not a huge fan of Mexican cuisine but the reviews are great on this restaurant so we gave it a try. He had the Burrito Veracruz and I had the Pollo Veracruz. They both share the same creamy chipotle sauce which is to die for. Both dishes are amazing. I was surprised that I even loved his Burrito Veracruz because I find most places butcher seafood burritos. Their sweet tea was delicious as was there queso with chorizo. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back! if you are looking for non cookie cutter Mexican food try this place!
The food here is fantastic, the service is great and so are the prices. By far the best Mexican food you will find in Valdosta.
The inside is updated and very nice looking. The menu was great and had a lot of options. I had shrimp diablo which was excellent and my husban had the fajitas and loved them. Will definitely go back! By far the best Mexican food in Valdosta.

Mole and Enchiladas Suizas!. I have been to El Cazador 4 or 5 times since it opened and it is still very good to excellent every time. I have had the red mole (excellent!) and it is deeply complex taste as it should be with sweet, savory, hot and some light chocolate favors. Have tasted the green mole and it is nutty, mildly spicy and also complex. My favorite are the Enchiladas Suizas.....wow. Chicken in good corn tortillas with a green jalapeno sauce and creamy cheese sauce....just the right heat. I have to make myself order something else as I could eat these every time I go. They have all the standard tex-mex foods but if you look they have some that no one else is offering in Valdosta. I have tasted some of the standards such as the tamales (light, favorable and moist) and they are really good. Only issue is that the times when they are busy (most tables full) the food does not come out as fast as other places (Rodeo). This is the only sit down mexican place besides Rodeo that I like in town. Give it a try.
I know a little about Mexican food due to my better half- this was the real thing, not that Taco Bell crap.
Best of the choices. Of the Mexican restaurants in Valdosta, this one has the best food and a menu that isn't the same as all the others. They have some interesting dishes. After eating there twice, we found the food of better quality than some of the less expensive Mexican restaurants, and the margaritas are great, too (several flavors on the menu). The server Jonas is first rate, he's funny, helpful, and on the ball.

I went with a large group. They took care us and sat us together. It was my first time going and I enjoyed everything. From the servers getting us seated, to leaving El Cazador, there's only positive things to say. If you're looking for a great place for dinner I would definitely give this place a try.

Honestly, I really do enjoy this place myself. A little discriminatory treatment from time to time but the food and staff are pretty decent. I love to sit on the patio and have lunch or dinner. The lunch specials are great. The gratuitous chips and dips are always an extra plus.
Great staff overall, our waiter was very attentive to our needs. We were very satisfied with our food, definitely will go back. Restaurant is a bit old but food and service was great.
Great authentic food. Pollo a la Diabla is no joke, but I love spicy food so this was right up my alley. It was nice to have the shaded outdoor seating. Took a lil longer than anticipated but they serve you chips and salsa while you wait so honestly no complains.
Great drinks, great food, great/fast service. Very well priced. I have never spent more than 35 bucks for 2 meals with myself and someone else with tip.
