The waffles are so good. I also had the burgers last time I was here, delicious and they pay attention to the temperature and get it right. Will be coming here all the time.

The diner has parking, but depending on the time of day it may be fiiled. There is plenty of parking on the street. The place is clean and spacious with exceptional staff and service. The food is so delicious and the portions are hugh. Best of all...the prices, so economical and affordable.

I like this diner and I've been going here for years.
For some reason...and it is a good one...their filet of sole sandwich is exceptional. It's my go-to for lunch and dinner.
The food here is not cheap, but younger what you pay for. All American diner classics are covered here.

Trying something new upon my arrival to the City that never sleeps. In my opinion, Diners can be a hit or miss. Valbrook Diner was a hit! Our server Sonny was friendly in her own little way. When I inquired about the Homemade Challah French Toast, her response made the dish sound like the perfect choice. The food was flavorful and delivered to our table at just the right temperature. Having ordered the French Toast, Turkey Sausage and scrambled eggs, I was pleasantly surprised by the French Toast. No syrup needed. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Not enough to eat 2. By the time I finished 1/2 of one turkey sausage that I didn’t really care for, one French toast, 1/2 of my eggs and the cooked to perfection corned beef hash that I just had to try.. I was extremely full. At Valwood Diner you will definitely get your money’s worth! So much so that you might waste some food. Overall experience was wonderful. I didn’t clean my plate but I left a very happy customer! By the way, parking is a little challenging but it’s New York🤩
A great place to eat! Everytime I come here I am treated well. The service is polite, efficient, and quick. The food comes out swiftly and is always delicious.

I'm someone who loves a great Saturday morning breakfast after a long and gruesome week. I decided to try somewhere else other than IHOP and ended up randomly coming to Valbrook Diner. From when I first entered the establishment, I was greeted with courtesy and I knew right then and there that they valued their customers. I was granted the choice to sit where I wanted. The atmosphere was very welcoming and everyone seemed to be happy. The sweet aroma of the food floating through the air made my mouth watery. The waitress was nice. They have many different selections on the menu. The food came rather quickly after I ordered. I also ordered a few things because I thought it would probably be small portions but I was wrong. The portions were sufficient enough. Food was very delicious and fulfilling. Highly recommend for breakfast. They do serve lunch also and I think dinner. Plenty of parking was available when I went there on a Saturday morning. Maybe just got lucky and the place was somewhat packed. Will definitely revisit. Thank you for a pleasant experience!
This was my first time at this diner and although it was very busy, my party was seated right fast. The staff was very friendly & professional and the food was to all our liking.
Needless to say we will be revisiting this place soon.

Great diner. I am just passing through long island and I had the best customer service and food was good. French toast is the way to go. The service was so superior that I hope I left a big enough tip for everyone. A must go for me.
It was my birthday and several family members got together at the Valbrook Diner for lunch. We were a party of 14 adults and kids, and each one of us were treated well. The service and food were amazing. Special preparation requests were honored without a problem. It was the first time any of us ate at the diner, and we will definitely be back. The photo is a pastry brought to me in recognition of my birthday. It was a great experience for all!

Ok, so normally I get my food platter style but was in a rush so I got a sandwich, I will never go back to platter style. This sandwich was freaking beautiful this the type of sandwich you get from corner store where they treat you like family. This sandwich was PERFECT! Been coming here for about two years, this review was long over due.
