My daughter wanted a cherry blossom cake for her Japanese-themed 10th birthday. I went straight to Il Corso. This cake looked amazing. However, unlike many boutique cakes, it also TASTED amazing. Thank you once again for the perfect cake! I have always counted on Il Corso to make whatever I dream up.
I've been going there even before they moved down the street to this location. I have since moved to Suffolk, but still go back for their delicious assorted biscotti. Their tri-color cake is amazing. Staff is always friendly, even when it's busy around the holidays!
The best pastries
we love the fruit tart here and the mini cannolis!!!

Cakes & pastries are amazing. Since first opening Aldo went out of his way to make every cake I ever ordered special. His decorating is awesome & cakes always delicious. One time I asked him 12:00 if I could get a special cake for my sons birthday that day because the person who was suppose to get it forgot. All he said was give me till 4 pm. When I picked up the cake it was still warm. It was delicious.
My favorite Italian bakery on Long Island. Cookies and cakes are all very good and the family that owns it is very friendly.
The tre leches with vanilla pudding and fruit is my favorite!!!!
The best bakery shop in the whole surrounding Long Island always fresh and always the true Italian way of baking

This is hands down the best authentic Italian pastry shop. The staff is happy, pleasant and helpful. My family have been going there for years and the cakes are beautiful. They put their all in the work they do and it shows
Best pastry shop , very friendly and helpful, great prices ,always fresh . I love it .
Best bakery on long island! have been coming here for years! wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!
Everything here is off the map, hand down best bakery I've ever been to!
First time visiting today, thanks to them being open later than all the bakeries in the area. Very impressed! cute shop with lots of goodies at fair prices. Service was friendly despite me not being the easiest customer. Highly recommend checking this place out!
Best pastries you'll ever have. He made our cake for our engagement party and even the venue asked us for the baker's information.
**Update** Aldo made our wedding cake as well. The picture speaks for itself. There is no fondant on that cake at all, the man is an artist.
Definitely one of the top 3 Italian bakeries in Long Island. Every year for the past 23 years, we have gotten a cannoli cake for my mother’s birthday here and every year it never disappoints. This year we had a small issue. We called and came in and were taken care of right away. They truly are the best. Also some of the best cannolis and cookies you will ever have.
I love IL Corso. They have the greatest cakes, cookies and pastries. Had a napolean cake for my husband's birthday, it was delicious.
Great bread. pastries are ok. . good but I've definitely had better. the cannoli shells didn't taste authentic. tasted like fried tortilla shells
As soon as we tasted the cannoli filling when we did our cake tasting we immediately knew we needed to work with iL Corso for our wedding! After speaking with the employees there they instantly picked up on our vision and were able to bring it to life. They were so knowledge and eager to help us design the cake of our dreams! We decided on cannoli and chocolate cream filling for the bottom 2 layers and funfetti for the top. All our guests raved about the cake & were asking for extra servings!
Beyond Amazing. II Corso made my wedding extra amazing. I am speechless. I loved everything about our wedding cake. Vanilla cake with cannoli and raspberry filling butter cream icing. I’m sooooo happy.
The sfogliatelle (lobster tail) at this bakery is incredible! I am a fan. However, the first time that I went there, I felt rushed the minute I walked in. The woman did not give me a chance to look around she immediately said “Yes? Can I help you?”…. It’s rude and uncomfortable. The second time, there was a young lady there who was fairly pleasant. Today when I went, there was a gentleman there and when I asked for the sfogliatelle, he was just rushing me to tell him how many pieces I’d like. Makes for an uncomfortable situation. Like I said, great bakery, but please work on the approach.
Il Corso is certainly the best pastry shop in town!
I've had both their St. Joseph pastries (picture attached), which were delicious! I've also had their cannolis, cannoli cake, and their infamous baba pastry.
I'd highly recommend them if you're in the neighborhood or simply want to satisfy that sweet tooth!
Best cakes and pastries and always great customer service. Excuse the slight damage in the picture that was our fault lol. This was canoli filling with strawberry so delicious.
