I watched this place go from a gloomy derelict building with faded green and white paint, to the delightful gem that it is today. This place is one of my favorite brew pubs in Vancouver. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The food is always fresh and made to order (I highly recommend the nachos). But let's not forget the beer! It is cold, refreshing, and expertly crafted. Get a flight and pick you favorite, that's how I found mine. Oh! And they also have a patio with great seating for you and your 4 legged canine friend.
Been here a few times before but now that I've moved to the neighborhood, I've been provided with a wonderful excuse to visit more - like last night! ;) Victor 23 has great food - fun, upscale bar food. My favs so far: the pork tacos and their Cuban sandwich! The beer is great and last night I decided to have a lovely Locust cider after server Jenn helped me sample to my heart's content. Ahhh.
Anybody who worked at NWA or has a interest in DB should make this a must. Not only great way of naming the beers but the beer and food more importantly is worth the stop.
Their food and beer are awesome! It’s hard to find a brewery that has both exceptional food and beer and Victor 23 knocks it out of the park!

Small and cozy airplane/DB Cooper atmosphere. Great selection of beers brewed onsite. Great brisket French dip! Love this place!
Local Brewery with a kickass theme.. staff... food.. and passion for beer! Came during opening and came back just the other day and it has grown! I'll be by a lot now! Staff were amazing.

We really enjoyed this place. I had the brisket taco and pulled pork taco, excellent!! Did a flight of beers and really liked them.

My first time into this local craft brewing spot in Vancouver. I was looking for a growler but they were out of stock. Inside and outside protected seating for food and drink. Bartender was very friendly and we talked brews for a minute, including other places to try for my growler. Pretty chill and friendly patrons during the day is an added bonus. ONLY reason for 4 stars is because it was first visit and I like to rate for consistency. Parking is a bit scarce, so challenging. Try their citrus offering, "GO Juice", it's very good with a splash of OJ.
Definitely coming back to check consistent vibe so I can throw down a 5 star review. Nice job Victor 23!
One of my favorite places in Vancouver where the beers selection always compliment nicely with their nachos — perfect meats and chips ratio.
Great local place! Good beer and friendly staff. Loved the brisket nachos but they’re currently in the process of switching menus excited to see what they have to offer to come. Love the outdoor seating and the semi outside seating for the rainy days.
The food here is the best! Not a lot of space for seating, but sitting on the patio, you can share tables with others in the kid and dog friendly patio. They brew their own beer here, and had one cider on tap. MUST do for brew pubs!
I visit Victor 23 when I want great food and enthusiasticly brewed and select variety of flavoured craft beer. Went for the WET Burrito and had a cold Skyjacker IPA. It was on point. I would also highly recommend their brisket nachos! Seating can be a bit noisy outside with traffic as it is in front of business, along St. Johns Rd. Parking can be limited as well, but definitely worth a visit or for take out. Staff is friendly and efficient without calling everyone Hon or being overly flattering. Victor 23 does an all around fantastic job!
