Our dining experience at Thai Bistro in Venice, Florida, was a delightful one, albeit with minor room for improvement. From the moment we entered the restaurant, the staff greeted us with warm smiles, setting a positive tone for the rest of the evening. The service was friendly, efficient, and prompt, showing a keen commitment to customer satisfaction. Our orders were taken quickly, and the food arrived within a reasonable timeframe, allowing us to savor our meal without unnecessary delays. The food itself was flavorful, a showcase of Thai culinary artistry. However, there was one significant concern - the spice level. I had ordered my dish "Thai hot", anticipating the bold, fiery flavors synonymous with Thai cuisine. Unfortunately, the spice level fell short of my expectations, leaning more toward mild than hot. When I brought this to our waitress's attention, her solution was to provide a spice tray rather than offering to adjust the dish in the kitchen. While I appreciated her prompt response, I couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed by the lack of engagement in resolving the issue to my satisfaction. Despite this minor setback, I must say that the overall dining experience was enjoyable. The ambiance was pleasant, and the remainder of the meal was delightful. This bistro undoubtedly offers a little piece of Thailand right here in Venice, Florida. I am leaving a four-star review in the hope that Thai Bistro takes this constructive feedback into consideration and makes the necessary adjustments to ensure the 'Thai hot' indeed reflects the rich and fiery flavors we all love about Thai cuisine. Thai Bistro remains a good choice for Thai food lovers, and I look forward to our next visit, hopeful for an even better experience.

Every dish we had here was incredible! The pad Thai, amazing chicken, and the Thai donuts were all fresh with delicious flavors. I’d eat here again and order the exact same thing! Our server Paew was kind and thorough. Overall we had a great experience and I highly recommend this restaurant.

I went to this restaurant about five years ago and wasnt impressed with the food or service.( which didnt have much flavor and the service was so slow . The parking in this strip business complex is very limited .All the reasons to not go back right? So glad my daughter wanted to go somewhere else than our usual Thai restaurant. I decided to give Thai Bistro a second chance . Service was fantastic and the crab rangoon , garlic pepper chicken dish was great. My daughter got the noodle bowl with chicken. Had a wonderful flavor. The parking lot is still a pain but now its worth it .

You come here only for the food. I heard Spanish coming from the kitchen and whether there was a Thai or Hispanic cook it did not matter. Perfectly cooked dishes with amazing Thai flavors. I don't think you could go wrong with ordering anything there. Prices and food true to the menu on their website. Service is exactly as you read from the negative reviews. When their hours say open till 9 it means they want you out before 9 so plan accordingly. If by chance you run afoul of this unwritten law they will surely let you know. Unfortunately, I went a few minutes past 9 and didn't get to order the mango and sticky rice as my check was already on the table at 9. None of the staff knows what's included in your dish based even on the menu's description which required a pow wow with the owner to confirm the menu was correct. The Thai egg dish was described as like a tortilla by the waitress. By the way, the bistro omelet was very small and expensive, but very good. The spring rolls were very good but again, way too expensive for what you get. We also got the sesame chicken which was a world apart from what you may get in nearly all American Chinese restaurants and just phenomenal, delicately fried and tender with a nice sweet sauce. Penang cury spot on. Happy fish was really good but eat as soon as it arrives at the table to prevent the crisp batter from getting soggy. They provide less than a cup of rice and it is such a tiny portion making this act of stinginess infuriating. If you like your curry dishes on rice, plan for at least 1 additional tiny order per dish. $2. Oh and just like the other reviews, they can't stand giving you extra clean plates or silverware. They don't understand the concept of a family sharing dishes and they cringe and fight back when you ask for serving spoons for each dish with a separate plate for each diner. It's not the kind of attitude you would receive in Thailand although the food closely approaches the quality. Obviously the owners are Americanized and we are glad to have them here. In spite of the cultural and language difficulties I loved the food and would go back in a heartbeat now that I'm better prepared to deal with the restaurants idiosyncrasies.

Magnificent Thai dinner cooked and managed by traditional Thai folks. Trust me you will love this restaurant. Traditional tasty Thai food. We had the Tom Yum soup and the Panang duck, out of this world. Coconut ice cream for dessert, yummy. Our server, Ken (Annop) was fantastic.

The food here is absolutely fantastic. Best Tom Yum soup anywhere. But I go here strictly for the panang duck, the rest is just icing.

Drunken noodles was on the spot with a couple glasses of plum wine. My buddy got two friends panang and the coconut curry was awesome. I took some of that coconut curry and some peanut sauce and wow what a sweet combo. The atomsphere is pleasant but expect your server running around like you at a restaurant in Jersey. Wow the food was delicious. The Singha beer was really good lager beer as well.
