Let’s be truthful here, you pay for the atmosphere and the views. The food is good but not great, but the sunset is amazing.
As for what to eat, the fried shrimp are the best thing on the menu. They have a few grouper options as well, but I’ve never been a big fan of theirs. Sweet potato fries are decent but we like to dip ours in honey mustard and theirs is just weird. Their yellowish orange lighting at night also makes everything and everyone look odd.
Several people recommended this place to us while visiting. The view outside is beautiful and the staff are great. The food is good and there is a good variety of foods to choose from including healthier items. Their seating system was a little confusing we went from one hostess stand to another and we weren’t sure what we were doing. I do recommend sitting outside for the views of the beach and pier. They brought warm pumpkin bread while we waited for our food and we really enjoyed it. I ordered the black bean burger and hubby ordered the French dip. It was a nice day and we would visit again.
The seafood nachos were amazing, and were loaded with crab and shrimp. Good size for 3 to 4 people. The frozen drinks were refreshing. The atmosphere adds a lot of value. A great place to take in the sunset. There was live music, so it made for a nice and fun night out!.
This was my first time eating at Sharky's and it was really good! Also, the view could not be beat! They brought out some pumpkin bread to start. Then I had the Clam Chowder (so many clams!), shared some Onion Rings, and had the Black Bean Burger. My friends had the Fish and Chips and Lobster Roll. We all really liked the food, except my one friend found some bones in the fish and chips. But atleast you know the fish was real and fresh! All in all I would visit again when I'm in town to shark teeth hunt.
First of all the waitress was amazing! The lobster stuffed flounder was really good! The Sriracha chicken sandwich was probably the best chicken sandwich I've ever had! It wasn't even super spicy and it had really great flavor! Hands down I recommend these two dishes and this restaurant in general! 10/10
A very beautiful place with lots of decorations and colors. There's lots of various seating options including inside, inside, outside and inside. Pigeons that were causing a disturbance around our table but other than that the food was good and service was great. We took a walk out on the pier after lunch.
I enjoyed my meal and atmosphere. We went out on the pier. Had a great time at Sharky's. I would call this a tourist attraction but it was great. Plenty of parking and valet. I was impress because I saw a sign where they offer benefits to their workers. Food was good and service was good.
Came to Venice for the weekend to do shark tooth hunting. Both days we came to Sharky's for lunch. Joel was our server, and the service we received from him was absolutely incredible. Definitely some of the best service I've ever received. The food was incredible as well. We ordered the Apple and Bri Pizza appetizer (sounds weird but it's delicious), the blackened Grouper sandwich, and the nachos. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good food with a nice view of the water.
I don’t give 5 stars very often but EVERY visit has been perfect! We stopped today for lunch. I had peel ‘n eat shrimp and husband had Ko-Tao salad. Fresh and delish!!
You can choose indoor or outdoor dining. It’s even acceptable to dine in your swimsuits. Fun bar with lots of beachy drinks to choose from. Just an overall great beach restaurant and bar!
We ate nachos with real cheese, not liquid, which were huge and good. We had an awesome salad with peanut dressing and burgers. It's right on the beach and it's the beginning of their busy season.
