I am a Italian from Boston girl who is completely picky about my pizza. Mama Maria's is by FAR the best pizza I've found so far in Florida. We go there so many times a year (literally once a week) but in addition every single year since my son was born, we have gone there for his "family" birthday party. He insists upon it and even at one years old, he would eat two slices of a large cheese pizza. Any time we order out pizza he informs us it better be Mama or he won't eat it. Lol. We also have ordered lots of the other items on the menu. We are particularly fond of their Greek salad and my daughter is in love with both their eggplant parmesan and the chicken parmesan. The portions are very large and usually two people can split a meal. But even as a family of 4, we always order 2 large pizzas because we all fight over leftovers the next day. One of our favorite pizza combinations is pepperoni and roasted red pepper. If you haven't had it, try it because it is excellent! And if you are from the Boston area and know your pizza, this pizza is definitely comparable to Santarpio's pizza in East Boston. WE LOVE MAMA'S!
Always consistently good! The pizza, the veal Parm, ravioli are all excellent! One of our go to places whenever we are in town!
Amazing service and food took the family here for a nice dinner, we just moved here, I think we found our pizza spot

Mama Maria's has the Best pizza in Venice, FL. If we go out for pizza this is the only place we will go and we have tried lots of different restaurants!
This former NY'er loves this pizza, & I am picky about pizza, eggplant & fettuccini Alfredo were awesome as well as spaghetti & meatballs & calzones & garlic knots so far :)
VERY good! We’ve been going there for 10+ years. Calzones, pizzas, their dinners. Yum! Last night I had their grilled chicken salad. Among the best I’ve ever had.

Best pizza I've had in a very long time! I wouldn't care if I had to drive 50 miles to pickup this pizza - I would! Every ingredient on the pizza was fresh and so flavorful. This Italian family will most definitely be back!!

The best pizza around!This was our first time ordering from there and we will definitely be doing this much more. It's absolutely delicious. There are so many fresh veggies and it's just fantastic all around. Love, love, love it!
Excellent food and a lot more of it than we were expecting. But when we came in we were told it would be 45 minutes before our order would be ready. We decided we would leave to find another place, but changed our minds almost immediately as it was getting late. So we ordered and then, with a smirk the cashier said it would be an hour. To be fair, though, I think the food only took about half an hour, and the wait was worth it. Definitely recommend and be prepared for leftovers enough for two to three more meals.
First time dining at this restaurant. I heard great things about their pizza, but I was in the mood for a grinder. I went with the Italian with let,tom,onion,bl olive, banana peppers,cheese,mayo, oil + vinegar. It was huge. I took half home. It was VG. I will be back soon. Highly recommend. 10-10-22 Natasha was our fine waitress. We had the spaghetti and meatballs comes with a side salad. Meatball parm. Sub and a pastrami sub. Huge portions
We came here Saturday night and there was a short wait for a table, but the waitress very loudly told us " Everyone's done, but no one's leaving!" (in a nice way of course) so I think that prompted some folks to leave. The food was hot and FRESH and the portions are big. Atmosphere is very casual dining. You could almost feel like you're going to a family friend's house to eat; they even have some family pics on one wall. Good place to stop by or order food. Customer service was good, but we had two different ladies helping us and sometimes it seemed like one didn't keep the other informed? Not sure, but overall everything was good and we did enjoy our food.
The food was pretty good and portions were huge. The side salad that come with the meals had a lot of veggies so i appreciated that. The pizza in the pic is the small. I liked the pizza the best. It tasted like real mozzarella cheese. Our server was friendly and helpful. You can split a meal, which I'd recommend, but they charge a small fee since they bring you a second salad. I only gave 4 stars because I didn't quite like the flavor of the Alfredo sauce. It was good but just different than what I make.
Not only the best pizza in town, but the owners are even better people. My new favorite pizza in south Florida!!! Highly recommended. Get the pepperoni pizza 🤤
Their subs and pasta are amazing. The chopped cherry peppers are delicious. Highly recommend.
We went to Mama Maria’s for the first time today to celebrate my birthday and it was AMAZING! The food was phenomenal!! Our salads came out very quickly, all of the food was hot and fresh when it was served, and the service was very personable. We did a white pizza which is the best I’ve had in FL so far, a meat lovers that was so loaded with toppings it looked like a deli counter, and a chicken bomb sub that was stuffed with delicious goodies. They definitely made us feel welcome. We will totally be going back!
Very large and Great Steak Sub, Prices very reasonably. Taste very good. I'm a senior from Balt.Md. I have t eaten a Sub like this since I was in my teens. Only thing missing was Barbecue Potato Chips.
Huge calzones. Large size can feed 3-4 people. We ordered meatball parmigiana and eggplant. Both were generously filled. We opted to add ricotta to both, and really liked the creaminess it added. Calzone price seems expensive, but feeds several people.
Awesome food. I go here atleast once or twice a week. For me they are super close by, but even if they werent i would still go. I love their pizza, and garlic knots are ridiculously 🔥.

It was clean and basic and perfect for a pizza shop. The over head lighting and ceiling fans give a strobe effect and it was a little off putting but I'm overly sensitive to that kind of thing, I'll just wear a visor next time it's not going to keep me from going back to eat that yummy Pizza. It was our first time but I'm told the pizza shop has been there for 24 years so they're doing something right so I highly recommend it.

Mama Maria's Pizza is the BEST PIZZA in Southwest Florida by far! Wow I just can't get enough of the crust the cheese oh the cheese the sauce the pepperoni and its huge! The LG is the size of Dominoes XL and is almost 10 dollars cheaper!!! There small is huge to. Please give this restaurant a try it really is THAT good!!! Take out anytime and delivery after 4:30 😋
