Absolute best place around for breakfast or lunch! Their chicken salad is amazing! We love their quiche and their crepes! Everything is cooked fresh and made from scratch. Can't wait to go back again!

When I worked in Venice this was by far my go to place for lunch! The food is always fresh and awesome! Great salads, quiche, and sandwiches. Living in South Sarasota, I am still able to go occasionally!

Loved the crepe with ham and mustard champagne sauce. Will definitely return! Also saw intriguing items on lunch menu, may have to ride bikes back for lunch one day too!

Tasted in august 20% of tips added, I didn't appreciate it. Otherwise, the food was alright, it's a change from American food.

Oh my word! I was blown away at this place. It is the perfect little get away for lunch. I was captivated by its quaintness and delicate appeal. I felt like I was transported to Paris (I've never been but this is what I imagined a Cafe would be like in Paris). The food was exquisite! I had the chowder while my friend had the French Onion Soup (hearing her moan with each spoonful made me wish I had gotten it too - but my soup was good as well). I ordered the chicken salad sandwich on croissant (sorry, I was so excited I forgot to take a pic). It was filling and seasoned perfectly. The dessert was very good too (see pic). But honestly the best part of the experience is the cozy atmosphere. I'm definitely a fan! Oh yes... I'll be returning very soon.

Would have been 5 star but when your NOT homemade dessert that cost more than your meal is ridiculous, so we won't be returning! A shame that a little piece of cheesecake that was clearly frozen off a truck was $13.99 now we know why the price wasn't on the board next to the desserts means you are a sneaky liar, real french food it is not... Just a heads up too all who go here don't order the desserts go to Publix taste better and you can get a whole dessert for cheaper than you can get a frozen slice here! There were 21 of us in our group and none of us would ever order dessert again but almost all of us have put the word out about the desserts and most of us will never return a shame too because when you go somewhere who posts all about french food that has been around for generations your frauding your tradition! Very dissatisfied and disappointed!

Gem of a restaurant, took my wife for Mothers Day and we were both impressed. Courteous, friendly, knowledgeable staff, food was excellent. Posted pictures on Facebook and fellow worker from SMH Venice went their with her husband and they both enjoyed it

I used to set outside as I liked it better. It's very crowded inside. The tables are so close. Once I ordered chili but accidentally got French Onion soup. Glad I did, because it was made right and very good. The only thing wrong was the cheese on top needed to be broiled to make it properly done. I will make sure to have more extra time, so I can go here next time with my hubby.

French Onion Soup is no joke, my girlfriend and I sat outside on a beautiful morning and hidden away from the breeze, our waiter was extremely courteous and the food was astronomical! Will definitely go here again!👍👍

Excellent! I've never had a bad meal and service is great as well. The brie plate was yummy and the Napoleon sandwich was delicious.
