We order from here every month or two when we are running errands and want something fast. Their little add ons are always a pleasant surprise and yummy. They are fun to share or keep for a day or two and enjoy another meal. My favorite is the cashew chicken, and my kids can't get enough of the orange chicken.
Only place in Venice that I will get Chinese food from. Tastes great! Always consistent.

Not the greatest atmosphere for indoor dining so not a place to take a date or something but you c just order takeou style and go somewhere 🤷🏼♀️ Most of the time they have good food. I don't know how they have (or had) an A+ but whatever. Their Crab Rangoon, beef and pea pods, egg rolls and chicken fried rice is good 🙂
Ordered delivery via Door Dash a few times now. The Szechwan Tofu is sooo good. The addition of vegetable fried rice and an egg roll made it a perfect meal!
Excellent food! Everything is high quality, consistent, and large portions. Very impressed by their pandemic safety measures. They are also very nice and include free entrees! We have ordered twice so far and both times they included extra food marked “free” :) Compared to the other options in the Venice area, this is the best one around!!

I've been ordering from China 1 since I moved to this area, and are my go-to Chinese food place. Always have been consistent, friendly, on time, and most importantly, great food!
I also think it's awesome that they will include free food in your order if it's over a certain amount (usually a large soup, but I've received entrees marked "free" before too). Not confirmed, but my theory is that they do this sometimes with the orders of customers who ordered food but never paid/came to pick it up. If this is the case, props once again, on finding such a smart way to ellicit customer loyalty and appreciation, and at the same time not be wasting resources!
TBH I walked in and wasn't expecting much (the plaza looks older and is a bit run down), but the inside of the restaurant was very clean!
I had the shrimp curry lunch special (at 3:00pm, the end of the lunch rush) and was pleasantly surprised!
Very fresh shrimp, the vegetables were crisp and large. I had egg drop soup - it was also good. I will eat there again.
To those who have reviewed and complained of poor service- as a former minimum wage worker....You reap what you sow.
Anywhere you go if you want excellent service then follow THE GOLDEN THREE:
Don't be rude (they are people with their own lives and stresses)
tip well (minimum wage is NOTHING - workers always appreciate it)
smile and treat the people who are feeding you kindly/nicely. (they're doing you a service)
Im glad this place came up on my Chinese food search. Made a carry out order and it was ready on time as ordered. Food was just made and steaming hot. For $10 it was a big portion. I ordered Kung pow with a chili sign thinking it will be hot but it wasnt as my daughter ate more chicken from my plate and didnt complain so if you are looking for spicy let them know. I was very satisfied and recommend this place. Young lady at the counter was very friendly and explained the food to me very patiently.
One of the only places open after Irma hit. They were busy continuously and still provided great customer service and delicious food.
