Very fun place to have a beer, watch football or play pool. If you like to bitch about smoke don’t go.
This is one of my favorite places! The food is excellent, the staff is super friendly. I never have to wait for a drink. This is the go to place for the locals! Love it!
I'm a long time patron of Wally's! Owner Lara & Bartenders Melissa, Katie, Erica, Tom & their amazing cook Erin, are all soo kind and just plain cool! Its the employees & customers "good people" that keep me coming back everytime! ...Not to mention, the best prices for drinks in Venice, the drinks are made properly & the food is soo good! ..cause every item on their menu is literally perfected!! 5+

Love it. Neighborhood bar - loud and rowdy. Lots of TVs with lots of sports. Drinks are extremely reasonably priced. They have wonderful pierogis (except Wed and Thu) and other items you would expect on a bar menu. Not fancy but a great place to belly up to the bar and watch a game. Don't miss happy hour.
First time there after hearing mixed reviews. We enjoy "dive bars" and weren't disappointed. First, "give 'em hell" Michelle did an outstanding job as the only employee....drinks server and waitress. Beers cold and inexpensive. Food voluminous and TASTY. Ambience of the place as expected....could be better but obvious a lot of recent effort and work expended. Bottom line for me.....why did we wait so long to try it ????
Had lunch here recently and the wings were amazing. My wife had a patty melt and she loved it. Very cold beer and friendly people. The cook even came out to see just how hot we wanted our wings. Best wings in town for sure by a long shot. We will be back.
I had been told the food was really good so I decided to try it. The food was okay, but the place was a bar. The guys down at the end were loud and giving the bartender a hard time. You definitely cannot bring a family here.
Wally's is the kind of pub I enjoy way more than the chain bars (Outback, Applebee's, etc). They lend great service to the "locals" concept in a pub. They've ramped up the food menu and offer very tasty and creative items. Service has NEVER been an issue.
Stopped in for a cocktail on a Monday . Alaina was out bartender . Not only was she very attentive to her very full bar , she also made a very good cocktail! Not from the area but will be back before we head home . If you you like a good dive bar ( we do ) this is your place. !
What a gem. First time and won't be last. Did not order food so no rate there. If you are looking for down home genuine environment...stop in!

Can't comment on the food since I didn't get any food but the times I have been there, they are quick to get you a drink. It's a dive bar so not much to see but if you want to have a drink with a friend and keep costs low than

They are obviously famous for their pierogies. They are so good! You can't drive through Venice and not stop to get some. I love that they sell them to you frozen if you want so you can take them home for dinner.
This is an established area treasure where the employees know their customers well and treat them right! We got this referral from my sister-in-law and she was absolutely right how good it was. Had the reuben pierogi and french dip. The au jus was great, not salty like many I've tried before. This is a regular's hangout and I am all for it.
I love a good dive bar, and Wally's fits the bill. I can't vouch for their food, but the bartender is friendly and pours a good drink. The crowd is also interesting and talkative. We stopped in on a Monday night and they had free pizza - can't argue with that.

Always great food. Happy hour is 2 for 1 on shots, and beer is a slightly reduced price. Friendly bartenders...1 of the few places around that you can still actually smoke inside. If you're not a smoker you may not want to sit inside unless the smoke doesn't bother you. They do have a couple picnic tables outside however you would have to go inside to order drinks or food, they don't have waiters or waitresses. Very friendly atmosphere but can get a little loud when all us locals get there after work....but always a great time!!
Haven’t had a chance to try the food yet but have gone back 3 times this week on our family vacation because everyone has been so friendly and we love the bar! Kat was a great bartender and we will be visiting again.
