Stopped at Anacapa as an old national park guide recommended it for a place to go after you went to Channel Islands NP. So glad we did! The service was great, the food was great, and the beer was delicious. We got fish and chips and the Newport sandwich(customized to brioche bun). The beer battering
We used to really enjoy this spot, but it’s changed. Beers are okay, food not so great. Go there for a burger and you’ll be okay, but anything more it’s very overpriced for the quality of food. Calamari came cold, and just frozen calamari sticks. For $17. Salads were plain. Kids meals were pricey f
It was the most kind experience. The waiter was most accommodating and knew the menu well. Suggestions on the wine and beer. We were all happy with his recommendations.
While most had the fish and chips (they liked it), I got the Sheczwhan (sp?) salad with grilled chicken. The salad was amazing 👏

Great service, awesome waitstaff (super helpful with food and drink recommendations!) and delicious food! We had the half and half appetizer and the veggie pizza, and would definitely order again. Next time we're leaving enough room for dessert!!
The food was really good and our waitress was awesome. Wish I got to have a beer but we still had a game to play. Maybe next time.
