Our food was super hot and fresh. Didn't have to wait long for it either. Catfish was great, the double meat burger was great and the onion rings were delicious too. You want an old fashioned burger then this is the spot.
You’ve got to order the jalapeño bun with the cheeseburger, it’s to die for! Curly fries on the side are also a must. Love this spot, always my go to eatery when I’m in Vernon.
Excellent burger. Also got a short horn which is a toasted hamburger bun with a patty and awesome chili on it with cheese and onions. Really good.

Love this hometown diner! Shorthorn is my all time favorite. Great onion rings and vanilla cream Dr. Pepper too! Expect to wait 20-30 mins on your order so you know it's cooked fresh.
