Opals Confectionery - Verona - Photo album

I had a birthday cake delivered to our restaurant reservation at Peach Blossom for our dessert. I ordered a “6 inch cake” and was happy to be able to still get the Chocolate Peppermint flavor (a seasonal specialty). I had no specifications, other than noting it was for a birthday, so it didn’t nee
While camping at The Villages, our family takes the shuttle to Turning Stone for the delicious food options. One of our favorites is to get pastries from Opals for breakfast. So many delicious offerings and great service. Pricey, but the gourmet desserts are well worth it.

We very much enjoy their baked goods but was surprised to see the Opera Torte go from $22.44 on 1/28/20 to $27.19 on 3/3/20 (both include tax). Whereas we understand prices do increase, a 21% increase in my opinion, is ridiculous. The adage is true, the house always wins.
