I have eaten here multiple times but forget to post a review until after I’m done. This time I had the chicken fried chicken to go and they did it perfect. I was very appreciative of good helping of gravy to go on top. I highly recommend the fried rice and fried shrimp. Baytown seafood is must stop while in Victoria, Tx.

There were 8 of us and our waitress was on top of everything. She checked on us often and made sure we had what we needed. The food was so good. A few of us were visiting from Arkansas, I will eat there again.

Very tasty, clean, and restaurant with options for a good price. I went around lunchtime so it wasn’t too busy. The server was very polite and many of the servers had on fish/sea themed shirts on so it added to the atmosphere. I ordered 3 catfish dinner which came with French fries and a salad. They do have Thousand Island dressing. The portion size is rather big; you get big size fried fish for what you order. Service was very quick as well my food was out before I even finished my salad. Good on refills, too. Overall very good experience ill probably eat here again!

This was some of the best seafood I have ever had. The batter on the fried gator is phenomenal and their spicy sauce they serve with it, alone, is deserving of a 5 star review. The rest of my meal could have been horrible and I still would recommend this place based on their gator and sauce. The grilled shrimp and scallops were just as amazing though. Service was friendly and quick. Can't wait to come back for more next time I'm in town.

Food 10/10. Customer service 8/10 Our waiter was great. He was very polite, attentive and friendly. The hostess on the other hand when we arrived she gave my husband an attitude like if she just didn’t want to be there. When we left she was back in the front and we thanked her and nothing she just seemed like she hated her job.

This place is the real deal. Amazing prices for the quality of food. Prompt friendly service. Casual atmosphere. I had the grilled stuffed flounder and it was delicious. No condiments needed!

Our friends that previously lived in Victoria always talk about this being one of their favorite places to eat. We finally stopped in on the trip from Port Aransas to Austin. It was good. The restaurant is hometown, casual with a lot of working people eating lunch. The iced tea was good. The salad was simple. The gumbo was very dark, a bit Cajun but mostly broth. The taste was good, but the content was lacking. The blackened fish topped with etouffee was cooked right. I ordered shrimp but they brough crawfish etouffee. We enjoyed the visit.

A great seafood place to stop and relax. Wife and I were coming back to the Rio Grande Valley from Houston. We were hungry and started a search for restaurants near by on google. Restaurant caught our eye due to the good reviews. We stopped by and the outside of restaurant wasn't impressive and looked old. Once we went inside it was a different story. Everything looked well kept and clean. Our waitress was friendly and courteous. We had shrimp cocktails, crab patties and mixed plate of fish, shrimp and oysters. Everything was delicious and would come back. Highly recommend it to family and friends. 😎👍

Absolutely delicious, all the way around. My only complaint/wish is that they would add horse radish to their cocktail sauce and add more dill to their tartar sauce. If they would do those 2 things we would have perfection! You definitely should give them a try.

Road trip to Victoria today, visiting Thrift Stores and Goodwill. Lots of memories of taking Mom. So we decided to stop here at Baytown Seafood restaurant for a bite, before we head back. Rick had Seafood Gumbo salad and catfish. I had 1 fish, 6 shrimp and salad. It hit the spot, it ought to carry us home. 😂

Ya better come hungry and wear your stretchy pants. The portions are unbelievable. The food is cooked to perfection, and our waitress was top shelf. If you're traveling through Victoria, Texas, and want quality seafood, get a hotel room for a nap afterwards, You will need it. Some of the best I've had in years.

Great service. Good menu choices. Delicious food. Triple winner. Good spot for large groups and seems family friendly. We ordered fried fish and shrimp, and fried shrimp and fried crabcakes. Loved it all.
