It wasn’t very busy when I went around 3 pm….
I spent more than expected. The server was very polite but they suggested I get a salad and it was an added $3 more. The red vinaigrette sauce was homemade and very good.
They give you lots of garlic bread rolls to start with. They’re good but could be softer or more flavorful.
The main entree was bigger than expected and very tasty I got spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were hidden underneath the sauce so I thought they weren’t there at first.
Overall good experience, polite workers and clean restaurant. But it can be expensive depending on what you order.
I might try pizza next time they do have an extensive menu even desserts.
Joe's Pizza & Pasta was the perfect venue for our office Christmas party. Food was incredible, service was fast and responsive and setting was great for our small gathering. My only complaint is my stomach isn’t big enough to handle more of this food! This has to be one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The bread they hand out could be considered an addictive substance-I might need an intervention to leave! Thank you guys for the great meal!
I've been looking for a good Italian place since I left Houston. I finally found it! I ordered the manicotti, calzone, and tiramisu Togo. Everything was good, even reheated. Totally worth the half hour drive. I can't wait to dine in and try the chick parm and stuffed mushrooms. :)
Everything was pretty good! I give it a 4 because the outside didn't look too appealing and the food would be bland without some extra things you'd have to know about. First when you get the bread you have to get the oil dip. (I personally think that it should be included with the bread.) We started with stuffed mushrooms and the mussels. The Parmesan cheese makes the flavor pop. The sauce from the stuffed mushrooms also went well with the bread (we had to ask for a second basket of bread). Finally we shared the seafood combo #2 and it was great! Again the Parmesan cheese accentuated the taste. The service was good and the food came out quickly which kind of made us leery at first.... I'd definitely consider coming back again!
Food is "chef's kiss" good! The service is excellent every and timely. My only complaint is something they can not control. I'm autistic and don't do loud noises. Their building echoes substantially. if there is a loud party or child, it reverberates and really bothers me. I do not blame the restaurant. I just have to remember to bring my noise canceling earbuds. If you have similar issues with noises, make sure to bring your noise canceling earbuds.
We tried this place out finally. I had heard mixed reviews, but for sure we gave it a try.
The bread was pretty good. They serve it fresh and hot to the table. On the table is literally a mountain of pre-packaged butter if you need 1 or 20.
I ordered the lunch special Chicken Parmesan with pasta. Comes served with thin spaghetti and a marinara that is what I know of a Sicilian style because it is on the more sweet side rather than savory/robust flavor. The chicken was tender and juicy.
Service was friendly overall, but a little slow. We were still able to get in and out during the lunch hour. The gentleman who brought us our food needs to work on his delivery as he seemed a bit nervous to be serving our food.
The place was a nice change from the chain Italian places. And although not my favorite Italian restaurant, it was really good and I plan to go back.
The atmosphere, cleanliness and staff are awesome at this place. We went on Sunday and it was low key and relaxing...also the music gave you the best vibes for eating at an Italian restaurant!
For two people we got 6 garlic rolls! Wow! They were very good. Not alot of garlic, but delicious none the same. The hubs had the chicken Alfredo and I had lasagna. The chicken in the chicken Alfredo had good flavor and the sauce was also tasty. I like more garlic in my sauce, but husband loved it! (Can you tell I'm a garlic fan? 😁) My lasagna was served in a single serving ceramic dish all bubbly out of the oven. The sauce!!!! Ahhh!!!! That sweet sauce paired with the sausage...and the melted cheese on top....ya'll....I could die.
My only regret is that I was too full to try the lemoncello mascarpone cake! There's always next time though!
We LOVE Joe’s. Yummy bread. Stuffed mushrooms always delicious. Joe’s salad just the best ever! And let’s not forget the authentic tiramisu yum yum yum! Highly recommend!
Great little gem in Victoria! Family owned and operated Italian food. Hubby had Veal piccata and I had Chicken Marsala- delish!! Particularly liked the garlic rolls and dipping oil!
Perfect. Once again. My wife and I enjoyed everything. Great food and Great service.
We have been to Joe's many times. We enjoy the food but wish they would offer menu options for smaller appetites. My wife tried to order from children's menu but was told she couldn't. Maybe consider adding an option for Seniors or as I already mentioned "smaller appetites".
First look at the building wasn't expecting much the inside could use renovation its pretty dark inside the restraunt. Surprisingly the food was above average for Italian places with that I'd probly rather come here than say olive garden for pasta dishes. The rolls could use some work as well. All together the place is a great place to eat some Italian inspired food.
Came in late right before closing staff was still very friendly and food was delicious this was our first time eating here and we will be back.
We’ve been here several times now. I’ve tried various dishes with mixed reviews. I’ve tried red sauces, white sauces (which have all been bland and needed salt), chicken dishes and lasagna. I just found my favorite dish here by far - Seafood Combo #1. It was full of flavor and hands down the beat I’ve had there. My daughter loves their spaghetti with meat sauce, my wife liked the calzone. All our food came out in a reasonable time and was hot. Our server was great - never had an empty drink on the table. She even offered to box up our entrees. We’ll definitely be returning!
Great food. Great staff. Can’t wait to go back and try more.
