Saw this place listed as one of the best burgers in the DMV and it definitely is! Just a really really good burger. You can add toppings and sauces but they aren’t one of those fancy shmancy burgers. It’s just a really really good burger. And fries. And craft sodas. It was so good I ate it before getting a picture.

My wife considers herself a burger connoisseur and, considering the amount of hamburgers that she's consumed in her life, I'm inclined to trust her opinions when it comes to the quality of the burger places that we try. So I asked her what she thought of Social Burger, and this was her response: "Oh, I liked it! Okay, let me think...like out of 5? Uh okay, let me talk through it, I liked the atmosphere, it was like a nice burger place. Well, it wasn't exceptionally nice, but it was different than your average 5Guys." [Editor's Notes: The shop is pretty small, maybe 4 tables and a standing table that sits against the window, which is something to consider if you're thinking about bringing a group here. When we went, the store wasn't very busy and we easily found a place to sit...back to my wife...] "I really liked the soda, it was the best raw sugar soda I've ever had. And the fries I really liked." "I had a basic burger and I liked it. Lettuce, onions, pickles, tomatoes, ketchup, mustard and I would for sure go back. I'd rate it a like a 3.8. I'm not sure I would rate it a 4. It was great, it was really good, but it didn't exceed my expectations. It was really good, but generally what you would expect from a burger place." [Editor's Note: This was a good point when you consider the sheer amount of burger places in the area. Social Burger is a cool spot but there wasn't anything about their burger that made me feel like theirs was different than the others I could get in the area. Admittedly, that's a subjective standard so your mileage may vary.] "My burger was reasonably priced, which was enough for me. $6 really wasn't bad compared to how much you'd spend at 5Guys or Smash Burger." [Editor's Note: I agree with this sentiment. My burger, which was dubbed "The Social Burger", was a bit more pricey (around $13), but I do feel like I got good value out of what I paid: it came with two patties, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, a house sauce and fried jalapeños which was more than enough to satisfy my hunger.] Other notes: - There is plenty of parking and the store is easy to access (which isn't always a guarantee in Vienna) - Social Burger has plenty of other options besides burgers. Their chili dogs caught my eye just a bit too late. - Staff was nice Overall, my wife and I agree that this is a great place to try and based on the quality of the food, the price and the convenience we'd likely go back for a burger in the future; we just weren't floored!

Great burger choices for everyone (meat/non-meat) and yummy too! Don't plan on eating in here as it is a small space. Lots of great parks nearby to enjoy this gastronomical feast.

As a gluten free eater, I love that I can get my burger without a bun, or on a bed of greens. The fries and sweet potato fries come in generous servings and are SO good. My kids love the burger options. I do not care for the Bacon Jam or the avocado - the jam is just not what i imagined, and the avocado is treated in some way that doesn't seem like food (is it not ripe and them pickled?)... minus one star because bacon and avocado are my favorite burger toppings.

If you’re wondering if the food is worth the drive to Vienna, it is. I always love coming to Social Burger. The food is amazing, and the service adds so much more. I got the Megan (black bean burger) with a bunch of toppings, and it was so filling. The sweet potato waffle fries were delicious with the social sauce. They weren’t soggy like in a majority of burger places. Get the ube milkshake if it’s available! It tastes just like the real ube ice cream from the Philippines. I would keep getting it as long as it’s on the menu. On top of the great food and service, I love that SB does a ton of things for their community and loves to give back.

Great burgers, maybe even top 5 in the area, but has its faults. Parking is fine however if you want to sit down, you’re usually not in luck with the seating. The fries are meh, but the milkshakes are pretty good. Burgers are delicious, however they cut their tomatoes abnormally thick, so I have to request none if I don’t want to eat a tomato burger.

It's like a Five Guys but on steroids. The burgers are filling, greasy, and customizable. Great hangover meal. Milk shakes were thick. The fries were stale when we got them but the sweet potato fries were fresh. Price will get'cha. We got two burgers, two fries, and a shake. $55. If you want to spoil your stomach be prepared to pay for it.

My new favorite burger joint in the area. The burger tasted great and fresh (it's nice to get actual flavor in the beef) and for me the fries are spectacular. Nice herbed ranch for the fries. Good prices too. I spent less here than at Five Guys and enjoyed it so much more. The service was super friendly. Give them love, they deserve it.

Social burger is a great blend of community which is exemplified in the diverse and changing menu. I love the local small beverage company the rep "Picks" compared to big coca-cola and Pepsi. There is a rotating burger on the wall in a paper list so once the ingredients are gone they switch to the next one. Today was a lamb patty melt. They have had a great Korean chicken inspired burger. The fries are like a boardwalk, thrashers, fries that beg for malt vinegar except their size is a little closer to shoe string for more crispness per lb than a larger fry. All in all this is a great burger spot and has usurped the burger King of the area for me, five guys.

One of the best burgers around in taste AND in value. Their fries are very crispy and their herb turkey burger was juicy. My friends ordered regular burgers and they were great as well. I highly recommend this place, and my #1 advice is to get double patties for any burger

When you think of a good burger , you wouldn’t really think to go to Vienna, and I’m glad I did!!. This amazing burger place is for sure a hidden gem in Vienna. Such a simple concept, but such a big impact of flavor !! I tried two burgers and two sides today. One will be the Matthew burger, which has the American cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon , slice onions, and my favorite, a fried egg. The red onions sweetness , matches with the saltiness of the cheeses. It also added texture to the burger , that makes it feel complete whenever you take that bite. The other one will be the Fried Chicken. An amazing crispy fried chicken, with lettuce, pepper jack , tomato, and pickles. Their pickles are no other pickles. It is homemade. The pepper jack gave it that kick that made the chicken be the star of the dish. The sides that came with it are the crispy fries , and the sweet and salty sweet potato fries. Both are cooked to perfection. I also tried their pineapple papaya drink. Not too sweet , not too acidic. It was just refreshing, perfect for ending the meal.

I had heard so much about this place and I finally got to visit it! We tried the VFC fried chicken with red curry mayo and it was delicious! I also tried the black bean burger with social sauce and it turned to WOW!! The pumpkin milkshake did not disappoint too!! I loved the place overall, would definitely recommend it!!

A good spot for a quick bite. A local own business offering a range of options for burgers, shakes and sides. The place is a little bit dirty but overall the food was ok.
